Cascia Hall is a Catholic, Augustinian, college preparatory school serving the spiritual, intellectual, personal, social, and physical development of young people from the Tulsa area in grades six through twelve.
The words under the seal “Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas,” Latin for “Truth, Unity, and Love” are not just words; they are the core values of Cascia Hall that are incorporated into every aspect of our school.

CHROMEBOOK 101
PURCHASING YOUR CHROMEBOOK
Cascia Hall is a college preparatory, liberal arts school and will not deviate from traditional learning; instead, to quote St. Augustine, “will always make progress” in best practices for our students. Students are required to purchase a Chromebook to use on a daily basis in class. We also strongly suggest purchasing a protection plan warranty (especially for Middle School students).
Although we don’t require a specific model, we do require it to run on a Chrome operating system and recommend at least a 32GB hard drive. We also recommend the Chromebook be new if the intent is for the student to use the same Chromebook the entire time at Cascia. Some of the aps teachers use require the student to have an up-to-date operating system, which may not be supported after 10 years.
Cascia Hall is a “Google School.” Our students maintain their school files on Google Drive, which is accessible from any internet-connected device. Students don’t need to keep up with flash drives or have to log on to an on-campus computer to get what they need. Google Drive also makes document sharing easy!
Cascia email is driven by Gmail, which is simple to use from Chromebooks as well as smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
Check out these suggested Chromebooks!
ATTEND CHROMEBOOK BOOT CAMP
All new students are required to attend one session of Chromebook Boot Camp. Upon completion of Boot Camp, students will not only have practiced creating Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, but will also understand myCASCIA and Google Drive, including how to manage Google folders. Students will also set up their student Google Calendar and Gmail.

SWIPECARD 1O1
SWIPE ACCOUNTS
Student swipe accounts are a wonderful way to pay for anything your student needs at the library, dining hall, and the bookstore.
The best part is you don’t have to worry about keeping money on their card, plus you can view all their charges at the touch of a button on the Resource Board. Parents will receive a bill at the end of each month.
THE FINE PRINT
Students will be issued their student ID/swipe card within the first few weeks of school. Lost swipe cards may be replaced at the bookstore for $10. An additional charge of $1.00 is applied each time a student uses the account WITHOUT the card, like at lunch or break.
We encourage parents to have a discussion with their child about spending parameters for the dining hall and bookstore. Parents are not notified prior to a student making a purchase.
MEALS AT CASCIA
Taher is our in-house dining service. It provides many different food options for breakfast, lunch, and grab-n-go snacks. There are also multiple microwaves available for students who choose to bring their own lunch.

CASCIA LINK CREW & WEB LEADERS
CASCIA HOUSE SYSTEM
At Cascia Hall, each grade level becomes its own house a unique, close-knit community where students build friendships and community, and participate in school traditions and events. These houses are more than just groups; they reflect our school’s Augustinian identity and culture, offering students a place to belong and grow. Each house is led by dedicated faculty members known as “parents,” along with the grade’s elected class president and class representative. Together, they help guide the house in creating a welcoming environment that values inclusion, school spirit, and active involvement in Student Council and community-wide initiatives. Being part of your house is one of the many ways you’ll experience what it means to be a member of the Cascia Hall family.
CASCIA LINK CREW AND WEB LEADERS
Cascia Link Crew is a group of upperclassmen who help ensure Upper School students are connected with the school and their classmates throughout the year. WEB Leaders are a group of 8th graders who help ensure Middle School students are connected with the school and their classmates throughout the year. These two groups help organize events and answer any questions. Link Crew and WEB Leaders will be a student’s contact for all things related to Cascia Hall.

The best way to get up-to-date information on what’s happening at Cascia Hall is through our biweekly Bulletin, emailed every Wednesday and Sunday during the school year and every Wednesday during the summer. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHERE DO STUDENTS PARK?
Seniors park in an assigned number space near St. Rita Chapel or in assigned number spaces adjacent to the baseball field. All other drivers park in unnumbered spaces bordering the baseball field, west of the former senior lot, or in the gravel lot near Utica.
DO WE HAVE TO BUY ALL THE T-SHIRTS THAT ARE SOLD?
Commemorative shirts will be presold for special occasions. Many families purchase them, though it is not required. Other spirit items can always be found at www.casciahall.com/spiritwear or in the Commando Bookstore.
CAN STUDENTS WEAR ANY SHOES THEY WANT TO SCHOOL?
Solid color tennis shoes in white, navy, black, or gray with white, navy, black, or gray accent colors and shoe laces are acceptable, as are low-heeled leather or canvas dress shoes. All shoes must have a back and be worn properly. Uggs are not permitted within the dress code.
DO GIRLS MOSTLY WEAR SKIRTS OR PANTS?
While we see girls wearing both, many of the girls opt for the plaid or khaki skirt.
WHO GOES TO THE DANCES? WHAT DO THEY WEAR?
The Homecoming Dance (HOCO) is for all Upper School students! It is a fun time, and most everyone goes. The girls usually wear a cocktail-style dress while the boys wear jackets and slacks. Freshmen will have a parentcoordinated dinner for everyone in the class with transportation to the school for the dance.
The Sadie Hawkins Dance is in February, and the girls ask the guys. All Upper School students are welcome to attend. The dress is casual and has a theme, which is announced a few weeks before the event.
Prom is for juniors and seniors. Dress for prom is typically a longer dress for girls and a suit or tuxedo for boys.
HOW DO STUDENTS GET INVOLVED?
Each fall, the Upper and Middle Schools host Club Fests for students to learn about the activities and clubs offered at Cascia. From chess to fishing, from pets to world languages, there is something for everyone!
WHAT IS CARITAS?
In keeping with the Augustinian core values of Truth, Unity, and Love, members of the Cascia Hall community respond to the call to service. Christian service is a concrete way to put faith into practice. In addition to classroom work, service hours are a graduation requirement, and all students participate in Caritas Connection. Your student will receive this information after school starts.
WHAT IS MINIMESTER?
Minimester is a unique experience that takes place throughout the month of January and is a chance for students to experience their potential future. Juniors and seniors explore month-long internships or take a trip abroad while freshmen and sophomores explore Minimester classes filled with a variety of learning. For all Upper School students, Minimester is an exciting chance for students to earn a grade and possibly change their life!
Same hours as regular schedule hours, but the day will include allschool Mass or an assembly.
The building opens at 7:00 am every day (including late arrival days). Students can stay on campus in the dining hall every day until 5:00 pm.
