Prior to confounding Get Your Teach On, Hope and Wade held various positions within schools teaching grades 1-8 in rural, Title I, inner-city, suburban, public, and private schools, were named District Choice Teacher, served as Head Wrestling Coach, High School State Champion Cross Country and Golf Coach, and led in the role of Director of Curriculum and Instruction amongst others While serving in a wide variety of school cultures and dynamics, the Kings continued to find tremendous success in accelerating academic achievement and growth for all learners.
Not only have the Kings built their classrooms on such principles, they continue to find ways to challenge teachers around the globe to do the same As part of their Get Your Teach On movement, the Kings are the founders of Rock Your School – a worldwide initiative where educators join together to create an outside-the-box educational experience for students. Teachers and staff at each school site will receive their very own Engagement Lab training on how to take their grade level standards and bring them to life in an Engagement Lab experience This training will leave teachers with the tools to take student learning to new heights
CLASSROOM MODEL LESSONS
It's time to see engagement in action! The GYTO Team will conduct model lessons in grade level classrooms with students at your school site Teachers will get to see engagement best practices and techniques modeled in real time with students.
PART3:
LESSON IMPLEMENTATION & INSTRUCTION
This interactive and hands-on implementation workshop will walk teachers and instructional staff through the process of taking standards and turning them into experiences in their new space. Teachers will take their current grade level standards and work collaboratively with grade level teams to transform instruction like never before
