Integrated MBA Courses – Trend with benefits

To provide higher education to make students industry-ready, several universities offer an integrated programme right after 12th or graduation. Moreover, some of the country’s premier institutions have taken the lead to provide integrated BBA or integrated MBA programmes to cater to an organisation’s needs from the managers. Besides the apparent combination, i.e. BBA and MBA, several institutes offer B.Tech with MBA, B.Pharm with MBA, and even M.Pharm with MBA as integrated programmes. Top institutes in India have emerged to offer these integrated courses on account of the student benefits. Additionally, you can specialise in MBA with a particular discipline that suits your interest and scope. An integrated programme has a dedicated curriculum which shall include content designed in sync with more than one higher education discipline. Students take on a defined period of study in each field, depending upon the duration and scope. At the end of the integrated program, students are awarded two degrees by the institution. Some integrated courses allow students to exit and get one degree. Initially, integrated programmes with BBA and MBA were the talk of the town. However, after the integrated courses became a success for the students, courses under engineering, architecture and pharmacy have combined with management education. Interestingly, dual degree or integrated programmes are not new in the Indian education system. However, recently these universities have begun to scale up and offer integrated programmes.
