Gerard Martínez

Independent artist, editor, audiovisual post producer, 3D artist in @forming_3d and creator of VFX. Founder and CEO of @laboca_estudio. Technician and Designer of Video Mapping. He has experience in cinematographic, fiction, animation and documentary works. He studied Telecommunications Engineering at the José Antonio Echeverría University City. He works as an editor, color corrector, animation and creator of VFX in the production company La Tiñosa Autista of the artist Jorge Molina. He worked in VFX composition at Trapiche Estudio. He is a professor and advisor at the San Antonio de los Baños film school, Cuba. (1989), Cuba In 2017 he collaborated with the visual artist Katia Muñoz, in the production of an audiovisual for an exhibition at Ronda Barcelona Gallery. He has participated in workshops and master classes of Cuban filmmakers Fernando Pérez and Jorge Molina. As of February 2021 he begins to work as an NFT artist under the name of Forming3D, presenting works with the Fábrica de Arte Cubano gallery, Wake Gallery, MOCDA among others. In 2022 he participates in the 7th edition of the Mapping Me! Held in Medina del Campo, Spain, presenting the Video Mapping Adrift and conducting a workshop on editing in video mapping.
