My passion lies in crafting spaces that transcend functionality to become immersive experiences. Every design is an opportunity to sculpt environments that not only fulfill practical needs but also evoke emotions and create memorable narratives. Inspired by Louis Kahn’s words, I believe in “the beauty that emerges from thoughtful selection, integration, and love in design.”

Project Overview :
In this project, our key concept is centered around rejuvenating the Brotherhood’s Sumner House by incorporating art and culture, aimed at reactivating the site and enhancing the quality of life for its residents. This initiative signifies an investment in furthering humanitarian efforts and fostering a strong sense of care and community bonds. The goal is to change the perception of building from a merely homeless shelter into an emblem of contemporary humanitarianism, resonating with its surroundings.

East Facade View : Public Entrance to the Building and Site
Following its role as Covid-19 temporary lockdown accommodation, the building hasn’t been used for its original purpose as accomodation for old people since there is a new regulation for accomodation. However, the director of the humanitarian efforts is open for suggestion on revitalizing this building, by considering repurposing it as lodging for individuals facing financial challenges, coupled with a new focus on language education.
Beyond the Books: A Playful Paradigm for Learning and Lifestyle
Cultivating Connections: Social Balconies Redefining Shared Spaces
This project explores how art can profoundly enhance the facilities of a social justice organization in Fritzroy. I believe that art has the potential to transform these spaces into unique landmarks. Through experimental design, embracing surrealism and playful architectural concepts, we aim to create a welcoming environment that represents an investment in advancing humanitarian work and instilling a sense of care and community connection.

Project Overview :
The proposed medium-density social housing in Geelong, Victoria, aims to tackle affordable housing shortages without contributing to urban sprawl. Focused on supporting existing communities and attracting new residents, it aims to boost regional centers’ economic and social vibrancy. By harnessing regional living’s unique spatial qualities and climate, the project employs innovative architectural strategies. Inspired by international models like 6 x 6 Block Girona, DataAE, and HARQUTECTES student housing, it aims to elevate inhabitants’ quality of life while making a positive impact on the community.
Site analysis and precedent studies have revealed strategies for a sustainable, functional, and attractive building. The vision transcends mere housing through creating a harmonious living space that embraces regional living’s uniqueness while addressing affordability. This approach offers adaptability and convenience in an evolving housing landscape, providing a superior alternative to traditional urban sprawl for affordability, sustainability, and adaptability

South Wind (Summer)
The central courtyard, our project’s nucleus, prioritizes well-being and community bonds. Designed to be a hub for gatherings and activities, it encourages interaction and connection among residents, bolstering a unified neighborhood spirit.
The project aims to provide affordable, clean energy to residents by strategically aligning building rooftops for maximum solar exposure. Each resident’s electricity needs are considered, with room for future solar panel installations to achieve a net-zero energy goal.
The social housing design maximizes energy efficiency by leveraging the site’s climate for consistent comfort. It harnesses winter sun for passive heating and capitalizes on strong summer winds (8.0 - 8.5 m/s) for natural cooling. Cross-ventilation efficiently eliminates warm air, ensuring improved indoor comfort in warmer months.
The proposed social housing project draws inspiration from global models like the 6 x 6 Block Girona, DataAE, and HARQUTECTES Student Housing. It adopts prefabricated rooms, cutting construction expenses and drastically speeding up the building process with an innovative approach.

The design philosophy revolves around creating units with versatile spaces that can seamlessly adapt to evolving needs over time. These adaptable spaces are designed to be easily repurposed, ensuring that they can effortlessly meet the changing requirements of the residents. The inspiration on the idea of using versatile space for the inhabitant was from the precedent study on 6 x 6 Blocks Girona which showcasing their units rooms being used by the inhabitant into a variety of usage from ordinary one bedroom units into three bedroom or functional office.
