Two years have passed since my beloved Mint Coffee crossed the Rainbow Bridge, yet the memory of her remains as vivid as ever. She was more than just a pet; she was my confidante, my playmate, and a constant source of joy.
Mint Coffee taught me the true meaning of unconditional love and the importance of living in the moment. I cherish the memories of her playful antics, their soft purrs, and the way she would always greet me with enthusiastic tail wags.
While I miss her dearly, I find comfort in knowing that she is at peace. And though she may be gone, the love we shared will forever remain in my heart.

A gentle nudge against mommy. It's time for breakfast! I am hungry!
6:00a.m.
Meow-ing for half an hour but Mommy still doesn’t want to get out of her bed.
7:00a.m.
FINALLY she wakes up! I meow louder so that she attends to me first
8:00a.m. - 1:00p.m
Going back to bed. I woke up early and used a lot of energy meowing for my breakfast!
2:00p.m. - 5:00p.m
I climb my cat tree, chase a toy mouse and balls. Enjoying my playtime on my own!
7:00p.m
Mommy and Daddy return home. I get my dinner served, but I still want to eat their food!
8:00p.m - 10:00p.m Cuddles on the couch.
Sometimes I like to get a place between mommy and daddy.
Mint Coffee was a cat who had learned to prefer the company of humans to that of other cats. She had experienced some less-than-pleasant interactions with her feline counterparts, leading her to seek solace in the quieter companionship of humans.
One day, Mint Coffee went to the Rainbow Bridge. It was a place for all animals after they died. There were lots of animals there, and it was very noisy. Mint Coffee didn't like it, so she found a quiet place to hide
But a playful puppy named Buster came running up to her. Mint Coffee hissed and tried to stay away.
An old owl saw what was happening and said, "Maybe you could be a little gentler, Buster. Mint Coffee is new here."
Mint Coffee didn't want any talk She thought she'd be happier alone.
The owl said, "This place is about more than just yourself. It's about helping others and enjoying being together."
Mint Coffee still wasn't sure, but she listened to the owl. She watched the other animals playing and having fun.
Then, she saw a monkey had knocked over a beautiful garden of flowers. The butterflies were very sad.
Mint Coffee felt a little sorry for them. She thought, "Maybe I can help."
Mint Coffee carefully used her paws to pick up the fallen petals and place them back on the stems She was careful not to damage the delicate flowers any further. The deer, seeing Mint Coffee’s efforts, gently nudged the remaining petals back into place with its nose. The butterflies were so happy, they buzzed around her to say thank you
Mint Coffee felt good about helping. She began to notice the good things about each animal – the dogs were playful, the owl was wise, and the deer were graceful. She even started to enjoy playing with Buster sometimes.
Over 99.9% of tri-colour cats are female. Male tri-colour cats are so incredibly rare that even seasoned vets might not encounter any in their entire career! And Mint Coffee, this lovely lady, was no exception to the rule – a true girl!
Mint Coffee’s birthday was . It’s taken as her birthday as she was adopted on 13 May 2019. Her actual birth date was unknown. Believe it or not! Mint Coffee had teeth! Due to some dental issues, all her teeth were removed long before she was adopted.
Mint Coffee moved from Hong Kong to Taiwan in .
Not only did she need to stay in the cargo alone, but she also went through days o quarantine. A brave girl!
Taiwan is a pet-friendly country that allows cats in all forms of ublic transportation. Mint offee has experienced travel n at least different odes: airplane, metro, taxi, bus, U-bike and motorcycle!

Interviewer: "Purr-haps you can tell us a bit about yourself. What makes you, well, you?
Mint Coffee: "I'm a pretty cool cat. I don't like staying with other cats, you know, I had some unpleasant experiences when I was taken from the street to an elderly woman's home. I thanked her for her kindness, but her shelter was just too crowded. Thanks to the next fosterer, I finally got a better place to live. Then, she brought me for two or three adoption days. I hadn't gotten any applications, before one day Mommy and Daddy finally chose me. I hid myself in the first week, but after that, the flat was all mine and it was a fun playground!"
Interviewer: "What's the most purr-fect mischief you ever got into?"
Mint Coffee: "Haha! I once got all the foam sticks that held the sofa cover in place out and played with them. All the sticks ended up under the sofa. Mommy was afraid I would swallow them, so she decided to put them away even though the sofa cover didn't hold its shape anymore. Another time, I tried to share their food. But they always said human food is salty and that I could only have unseasoned chicken fillet. That's also good, too!"
Interviewer: "What's the most surprising thing you've learned about humans?"
Mint Coffee: "That they need to work for long hours and can't play with me all the time! But to earn bread and butter for me, I understand that. I can enjoy my time on my own and spend time with them when they are back."
Interviewer: "Share a tail-tale that will make us purr with laughter!"
Mint Coffee: "This actually happened. When Mommy and Daddy picked me, the fosterer said I was 5 years old. When they tried to get me to Taiwan, they discovered that I was at least 9 years old at the time they adopted me. They were so surprised to learn the fact, but they believed that the fosterer was not intentionally lying, but she just didn't know my earlier life."
Interviewer: "What are you most thankful for?"
Mint Coffee: "First, I'm thankful for the day Mommy and Daddy chose me. I have a special pattern on my face, and some people might think it's ugly, so I was worried that no one would choose me. Second, I'm thankful for the time Daddy was diagnosed with allergies to cat fur. He decided to take medicine to relieve the itchy reaction instead of abandoning me."
Interviewer: "How have you changed your human's life? (They probably don't realize it!)"
Mint Coffee: "Their life is much more interesting with me now. They don't have kids, and I was like their children – though I think I'm more reliable than them! They can relieve stress from work when they pet me, comb my fur, play with me, and take funny photos of me."
