What do you think about the Dining Hall at GSW?

Senior Psychology Major

“I go to the cafeteria at least 4 times a week, otherwise I am there every day of the week. Overall I feel like the cafeteria, ambience-wise, is a very lively and sociable place so it’s a great place to hangout and chill especially in between classes. Service-wise, while there are a few staff members that I think are very lovely, many don’t perform their jobs well. A lot of times, particularly at dinner, the staff tends to stand around and you can be waiting to be served for 5-10 minutes and no one comes over to assist you which I kind of think is rude. I have noticed within this past semester that any time after 6:45P.M. or 7:00P.M. that the cafeteria tends to run out of food and they do not make any effort to make more food even though students continue to come in, which I do feel like that is a problem to be addressed.”

Soph. Computer Science Major

“I do not eat at the dining hall very much, but when I do eat there, I’ve always enjoyed it. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but like, it’s serviceable. I’ve never really had a bad experience at the dining hall.”

Junior English Major

“For a school cafeteria, the caf has pretty good food. The meals are diverse and healthy, and the place is clean for the most part. The service isn’t always great during dinner- the servers start cleaning up before people have left and a lot of times they don’t seem to be interested in helping people in the grill and hibachi lines. They also teased us by putting the ice cream machine out and not setting it up. We want our ice cream machine back!”
