We understand that many potential graduate students are already working in their career ďŹ elds and have personal and social obligations. We offer several delivery methods and class locations to make it easier for our students to pursue their degrees and maintain their schedule commitments. class location varies by degree program.

Milledgeville. less than a two-hour drive southeast of atlanta, our beautiful main campus has been a staple of the university for more than 125 years and provides a postcard setting for a public liberal arts education. all campus facilities are available for graduate students, including the state-of-the-art russell library, Wellness and recreation center and much more.

Macon. easily accessible from interstates i-75 and i-16, you can ďŹ nd georgia college in the heart of downtown macon. the macon graduate center hosts select education and business programs in a central location that allows working professionals to continue their education just a short distance from their workplace.

Robins Air Force Base. evening classes at robins air force base in Warner robins allows residents and employees to attend classes close to work and home. students who do not work on base must pass a security clearance to take classes at the robins center.

Nationwide. for students who join our online programs, classrooms are accessible anywhere you have an internet connection. georgia college is available at your convenience.

the college of arts and sciences offers seven master’s degree programs: english, History, criminal Justice, creative Writing, music education, public administration and biology. celebrating the accomplishments of our most famous alumna, georgia college is home to the flannery o’connor collection, a resource for literary scholars and o’connor devotees worldwide. for those pursuing a graduate degree in History, georgia college sits in the heart of milledgeville, the state capital through much of the 19th century. for our graduate students pursuing a master of science in biology, we offer thesis and nonthesis curriculum options. Whether you’re continuing your studies, looking for a researchoriented career in science or pursuing a medical or teaching career, we can help you select the curriculum that will lay a foundation for success. the master of music education degree deepens your musicianship while studying the development of musical ability in children and adolescents. these master’s-level courses will give certified in-service and pre-service teachers the tools to enliven students’ passions for the arts. civil and public servants can explore master’s degree options through our master of science in criminal Justice and master of public administration programs. in 2015, topmanagementdegrees.com ranked georgia college’s mpa 25th of all online master’s degrees in public administration in the country. the master of public administration program is accredited with the network of schools of public policy, affairs and administration.

the J. Whitney bunting college of business offers graduate programs for working professionals. the master of logistics and supply chain management (mlscm), Webmba® and master of management information systems (mmis) are offered online. the master of accountancy, delivered face-to-face, is for students wishing to complete the 150-hour requirement before starting their career. the college also offers offsite a part-time, face-to-face master of business administration. all programs in the college of business are accredited by aacsb – the association to advance collegiate schools of business – the premier business accreditor in the world. less than 5% of the world’s business schools are aacsb accredited. us news & World report has ranked the georgia Webmba® at georgia college in the top 25 nationally. the mlscm program is ranked nationally in the top 10 by bestschools.org. georgia college is regularly ranked by princeton review and Kiplinger’s for the quality and value of its programs.

the John H. lounsbury college of education offers graduate programs on the milledgeville campus and at the macon graduate center. We also recently added select program offerings in a fully-online format. the national council for accreditation of teacher education and the georgia professional standards commission accredit our education programs. We offer specialist in education degrees, master of education degrees and master of arts in teaching degrees in a variety of areas and concentrations. from early childhood to secondary education, from library media to educational leadership, we can assist you in selecting the proper degree for your career path.


College of Health Sciences if you’re seeking to advance a career in health education, promotion, maintenance or restoration, the college of Health sciences has a graduate degree that can help give you a step up in your industry. We offer master’s degree programs in creative arts therapies, health and human performance and nursing. our nursing program offers georgia college’s first doctoral degree, the doctor of nursing practice (dnp). Creative Arts Therapies our master’s degree programs in creative arts therapies include programs in music and art. We offer georgia’s only master of music therapy program and it is approved by the national association of schools and music and the american music therapy association. created in response to the demand for highlyqualified allied health professionals in the fields of creative arts therapeutic programming, our master of arts in art therapy is the first of its kind in georgia. Health and Human Performance our master’s degrees in health and human performance include a master of arts in teaching degree in Kinesiology/physical education and a master of science in Health and Human performance with a concentration in Human performance or an online concentration in Health promotion.

Apply apply yourself. once you decide to pursue a graduate education at georgia college, your ďŹ rst step is completing your application. priority application deadlines for most programs are april 1 for summer semester (including all abbreviated terms), July 1 for fall semester and november 1 for spring semester. some of our programs have rolling admission, and you can start in the semester of your choice. other programs are cohort-based and will have a set semester in which they start. your graduate admissions counselor will gladly answer any questions that you have about admission and can guide you through the application process. please check our website for details about special admission dates or procedures. transcripts are required prior to admission decisions and your program may require applicable standardized testing. visiting gcsu.edu/admissions/graduate or contacting us at grad-admit@gcsu.edu are the best ways to learn which materials you will need and how to apply.
