Outstanding Student Leaders .
On April 24, 2018 Georgetown College honored students at the Outstanding Student Leadership Award Banquet. To be considered for the award, they must be a graduating senior with an outstanding record of involvement at Georgetown College and a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Nominees are students who have influenced the Georgetown College Community, made a lasting impact, and are great role models for the other students on campus. Georgetown College staff members, faculty members, or peers can nominate students for this award. This year’s winners of the Outstanding Student Leadership Award were Nico De Villalobos Paz and Allison Card.

Nico De Villalobos has been a member of Residence Life for three years serving as a Resident Assistant for one year and a Resident Director for two years. Nico has also been involved with the JV Basketball team, the Spanish Immersion Program, Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Society , and Sigma Delta Pi Hispanic Honor Society.

Allison Card has been an active leader serving in the Awaken Love ministry group, volunteering to lead the National Day of Prayer event, and creating other campus programs to minister to students. Allison has also been a member of Residence Life for two years as a Resident Assistant.
