Bushcare are celebrating wetlands and foreshores with our first event for the year. This event will be run at our depot nursery where native species will be propagated on the day.
These plants will be later planted throughout our wetland and shoreline environments.

Claydon Reserve, San Souci
Join forces with Council’s Bushcare team for this annual Clean Up Australia Day event that occurs across the country.
Clean-ups are a great way to bring the community together, raise awareness and start a conversation on reducing litter in our natural environment.

Timothy reserve is receiving a garden makeover. Join Councils Operational Teams for some weeding and planting at this reserve.

Carss Bush Park
Bushcare will be conducting trail maintenance within Carrs Bush Park along with an informal plant identification tour of the reserve.

Pearce Ave Reserve, Peakhurst
Bushcare will be facilitating a morning of weed removal from Councils 2024 National Tree Day site. Come along and revitalize this urban creek line and check up on the plantings from last year’s event.

Oatley Park (Frog’s Hollow)
Located along Lime Kiln Bay, Frog’s Hollow will be the site of this year’s event. Just a short walk from the foot bridge at the bottom of Oatley Park. Carefully selected species will be planted on the day.

Oatley Park, Oatley
An educational walk around the Headland track in Oatley Park. We will be identifying species and collecting data on plants found along the Headland track. A special guest has also been invited along.
No experience necessary. This walk is for people with a moderate level of fitness as there are steep stairs and uneven surfaces.

Join the Bushcare team for a morning of weeding in this beautiful reserve, where we will be targeting priority weed species.

A spooky walk through Myles Dunphy Reserve for Halloween. We will be spotlighting to see if we can find any creepy critters.
