"FreepracticeandQualifyingTheweekendfollowedtheusual24HSeriesformat,with freepracticetakingplaceonFridaymorningbeforethethree-partqualifyingsessionto determinethestartingorderforthefirstsegmentofthe12-hourrace.

Kolocexplained:"Qualifyingwent prettywell,wegotsecondonthe gridinGT4,whichwasagood resultasit'salongrace.

"RaceIncontrasttotherestofthe12-hourformatraces,thefirst segmentwasrunoversix-and-a-halfhoursinsteadofsix,withthe#416 MercedesinitiallyholdingpositionwithLackoatthewheel.

"Theracestartedoutprettywell,Adam droveareallygoodstint,andinmytime inthecarIwasdoublestintingsoIwas tryingtomanagethetyres,aspeople werehavingproblemswithpunctures," saidKoloc.

Sunday'sraceisfiveandahoursandtheplanistotryand recoversometime.
