Whilethesilvercoinhas animageoftheskull embossed,theoriginalart wascarveddirectlyintoa realhumanskull. Theoriginalhumanskull containsfragmentsof bonesfromSt.Gonzaga, aswellastwoancient crosses.
Thecoinsthemselves donotcontain fragmentsoftheholy relics,thoughtheyare representedinthe artwork.
