OnMay13,2023,KDCollegePrepreleasedanewdigitalpractice testplatformthatpreparesstudentsforthechangescomingtothe PSAT/NMSQT®andSAT®testsinfallof2023andearly2024.
Thenewdigitalpracticetestplatformis partofacompany-wideeffortto prepareKDstudentsforthenewdigital PSATandSATtests,ashiftwhichthe CollegeBoardfirstannouncedin January2022.
StudentsintheU.S.will encounterthefirstnationaldigital PSATtestinOctober2023.
KD'sin-housecurriculumwritersandtestprepinstructors collaboratedwiththedevelopmentanddesignteamsto producenewtestcontent.
Whilethecurriculumteam workedonnewtestcontent,the developmentteamwenttowork onthenewtestingplatform.
Aftermanyroundsofeditsandfunctionalitychecks,thefirst digitalpracticetestwasreadyforrelease.
"Foryears,KDhasproducedpractice teststhataccuratelyreplicatethetype ofcontentfoundonthenationaltests, andthesenewdigitalpracticetestsare nodifferent.
WebelievethatournewdigitaltestingplatformwillhelpKDstudentsbetterprepare forthetestchangestheywillencounterthisfall,whichwillgreatlyincreasetheir chancesofreachingtheirscoregoals,"saidGeorgeSteininger,presidentofKD CollegePrep.
Currently,thetestsareonly availabletostudentswhoare enrolledinanin-personorliveonlineclassroom-basedprogram atKDCollegePrep.
ManycollegesstillreviewSATandPSAT/NMSQTscores submittedduringtheapplicationprocess.
