On behalf of the entire Rafter T Angus family we personally invite all of our past, present, and future customers to our annual production bull sale. This year has been a grass phenomenon due to the amazing moisture our valley has received. We are super excited to have such an outstanding calf crop to be offering. This year our calves are sired by sires that we have used in the past that are rock solid, and some new sires that we are beyond impressed with. We feel that these new sires will add extreme new levels of performance and ravishing levels of optimism in our future young cows. Last spring and summer we were blessed with extreme weather, rainfall and hay production like our family hasn’t seen in over 65 years. Raising functional Angus cattle that can thrive in both extremes of drought and plunder is a goal we strive for. As a whole, the Angus breed has a lot of progressive genetics to choose from. We don’t chase trendy pedigrees. We use AI and a growing ET program to help us stay focused on pedigrees with functional traits. Knowing that our customers are some of the very best managers in the business we are obligated to offer you the very best we have. As calves, these bulls aren’t given any special treatment, they are not creep fed. After we wean, they are fed a high fiber pellet along with willow creek wheat hay. We have worked very closely with our nutritionist to develop properly conditioned and highly fertile bulls. On this complete dry ration the bulls should grow and not get fat. We want to sell you bulls with longevity, allowing you to utilize your herd sire for years. Prior to the sale, the bulls will all be carcass ultrasounded. That data will be available shortly before the sale. Before delivery they will be given a complete breeding soundness exam by Drs. Jay and Brandi Hudson. We offer our personal guarantee with these bulls. Not just at sale time, but also when the bulls are at home working in your pastures. We stand behind every bull that leaves our ranch for one breeding season. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase during the first breeding season, we want to be the first to know. The bulls will be wintered free of charge and we will deliver them to you sometime around April 1, 2020. If you’re in the area before the sale please stop by to look at the bulls.
