Sometimes it seems just like yesterday that we were making plans for this facility, and now here we are in 2024 hosting a junior show along with the Customer Sale We are extremely blessed with the people around us that help tirelessly to get everything done, and the Clear Choice group members: Beshears, Lucky Penny, and Neal Brothers for their support, hard work, and dedication .
Like we say each year, the customer sale is fun for us, but even more so this year We always love welcoming our friends and customers to the facility to market their cattle Even more so this year we are excited to welcome junior customers back to the Spotlight Show that will happen one hour after the conclusion of the sale . As a reminder, any female that qualifies to be shown sold in the Customer Sale will be eligible to show just an hour later .

Vantage Point continues to produce outstanding progeny whether bulls or females. He himself has run the pasture here at Woodlawn Farms. We purchased Vantage with the assistance of Doug Parke out of the Denver sale from Jerry Lee and it’s the best thing we have done in history of our program, which was many years ago. We in north Georgia calve in the fall so the first year we just sold the spring breeding right to Clearwater Simmentals. After that we have sold each year the spring rights. The demand of Vantage Point as running in the pastures was great because of his structural, foot size and soundness which continued in the different operations. Vantage Point ended up at top and high respected programs of Clearwater, Lee Simmentals, Shoal Creek and Hadden Simmentals. All this time, semen was being marketed and still today by Cattle Vision. The best son is Clear Advantage which was bred by Clearwater and on first site by Bobby Beshears he purchased half interest. With all demand of both bulls Clear Advantage was sold in the Clear Choice bull sale for 25,000 to Jesse Ranges and Drebes Simmental. A red daughter sold in the Hilbrands sale for half interest for 30,000. Vantage Point has a superb track record on all progeny and most important his daughters are attractive with a good look and presence plus functional with the right teat size and udder quality. Vantage Point looks great and looks like a champion. Woodlawn is selling Vantage Point in his entirety and sells with 100 units of semen. When we made the decision to bring heifers to the Customer appreciation sale we knew we wanted to bring some elite females. 307L combines two to the best cows we have ever been a part of WHF DELILAH 45D and WHF SUMMER 365C. These 2 cows have generated many dollars and even more important many daughters and sons that are producing great. 307L is a fancy black baldy that has a bright future. Tie into one of the hottest pedigrees the Simmental breed has to offer.
The combination of Bet on Red and Angels Envy has been great for us at WHF. This stunning red baldy is a prime example of what this mating has to offer. Elegant made, big bodied and flexible in her structure.
