Purple banners run deep in this Sadie cow family. 91C’s granddam, RT0X, won Fort Worth twice, once as a calf and then a year later as a bred; she also was named Grand Champion bred and owned female at the AJSA National Classic. Her dam, 21A, was the reserve division champion in Denver and a maternal sister was named calf champion at the Iowa State Fair this year. You cannot go wrong investing in a proven cow family. Since we live in Iowa it was a management decision to hold over 91C to a spring calving female and she settled to CCR Santa Fe on her first service.

This star headed female will be one of the nicest bred heifers to sell this fall in any sale. We held this one back to add a little punch to this year’s sale. 911D has been one of Dustin Smith’s favorite females at our place since we received her from the satellite herd. I cannot express enough how successful this Wheelman flush was to a great Entourage daughter Maddie May. We do not just flush cows to flush them, they have to earn their right to the donor pen. 911D is broke and ready to be shown this fall if you choose to do so, regardless she will make a great replacement female for her next owners.
