The faith that overcomes The faith that wins The faith that conquers The faith that overthrows The faith that does not take ‘no’ for an answer The faith that wins all the time We’re talking about the winning faith of an eagle

There are many characteristics that distinguish a chicken from an eagle. I will quickly list four.
1A chicken is a coward- a chicken is born a coward; everything intimidates a chicken, but an eagle is stubborn, so stubborn that it is called the king of the birds. It takes charge the way the lion takes charge of the jungle. 2 A chicken is not selective- The chicken eats anything and can flock with anything in search of food. The chicken is not selective because it doesn’t not understand its purpose in life. It eats things that are digestible and those that are not digestible. Anything goes into the mouth of a chicken, including sand. The eagle is not like that, the eagle is very selective. Selective in eating and selective in association. So, this year choose to be a selective woman. You can’t be hanging around with people who are wasting their lives. This year, I pray God will bring you into the right associations.
3A chicken is a gate crasher; the chicken attends every party without invitation, don’t you notice that chickens are seen anywhere, but eagles are a rare sight, this is because eagles only go to places that serve their purpose, The eagle does not accept every invitation. Don’t go where you are not needed; Joel Osteen said, “Take out your time with those who celebrate you, not those who tolerate you.” Before accepting an invitation, ask yourself, ‘Who is inviting me? What value will that meeting add to me? If I spend three hours there, how will that advance my life?
4The chicken depends on hand outs- the Bible says that when people are the ones feeding you and clothing you, they dictate your life. When you are reliant on people for your sustenance, it inhibits your ability to trust God. After all, we are to “cast our cares upon Him”...When you know the Lord you serve, you are able to say, “I refuse to live a life of handouts.” ‘for those that know their God shall be strong and they shall do exploits…’ (Daniel 11:32). gw
