COMMUNITY UPDATE
Learn how design can transform unpredictability into opportunity, and turn barriers into building blocks at Geelong Design Week 2021. This year’s theme is ‘Unpredictable’ – a reflection on the year that’s been and the future ahead. From 18 to 28 March, experience a diverse mix of exhibitions, events and pop-up shops, as you are encouraged to imagine, discover and explore how design and creativity can be used to push the boundaries and address global challenges.

RONE in Geelong
Renowned Geelong-born artist RONE’s new installation extends his fascination with the concepts of beauty and decay, totally transforming the rooms of the Geelong Gallery. RONE’s installation has transformed Geelong Gallery’s rooms in response to the architecture and history of the building, and the Gallery’s collection.
Geelong Design Week is presented by the City of Greater Geelong and celebrates Geelong’s global recognition as Australia’s first and only UNESCO Creative City of Design.
