JULY 2016: JULY 31: SYCAMORE IL: 17TH ANNUAL TURNING BACK TIME CAR SHOW: Show being held in downtown Sycamore. Over 1000 cars were at the 2016 show. The parking lots behind the county building just off, of State St. and Locust St. have been reserved for those arriving in town on Sunday morning prior to gate opening at 5:30 AM. Officials will be there to notify drivers when to head for the gate upon opening.

Secure overnight parking for those staying downtown is in the lot next to the Sycamore Theater at State and Sacramento. An official will be in that lot early to collect entry fees though it is highly recommended to use the PreEntry if you are planning to stay downtown. Show Parking is first come first serve. If you are part of a group it is necessary for you all to come in as a group. Some exceptions can be made on a short term temporary basis for one or two however as the numbers of entries entering increases, those unused saved spaces will be filled. Registration opens at 6:30 AM. After parking, head to the Registration Tent on the north side of State St. at the Somonauk St. intersection. Those who are Pre-entered can line up on the right for faster service. All cars parked in the show area must be registered. JULY 30: WOODLAND CA: 13TH ANNUAL MIDNIGHT MASS CAR SHOW: Hosted by the Sacramento Poor Boys Club, Midnight Mass is the premier West Coast garage built rod & custom car show and entertainment extravaganza. It is a gathering of the 1950's lifestyle crowd. In its 13th year, the Midnight Mass show features homebuilt low buck pre 1965 American made automobiles built and driven by the average working guy & gal. Rust, patina, primer, flat colors or custom paint is all accepted. If its old school, it's cool! Live bands, pinup contest and vendors galore with food, beer, hip clothes and assorted retro items adds to the very unique and unusual hot cars & cool people that makes Midnight Mass great entertainment. To beat the summer heat the show runs from midday to midnight, hence the name Midnight Mass. Almost 12,000 people and 600 cars attended last year's Midnight Mass. The Sacramento Poor Boys car club was started in 1998. The Poorboys have been credited with the resurgence of homebuilt/low buck traditional hot rods and custom as a result of creating , producing and hosting the most notable car show in Northern California: Midnight Mass.

The 2015 Inaugural Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals was a huge success by all measures.. The event saw nearly 1,800 TriFive Chevys come out to be part of the show!

The 2016 Tri-Five Nationals are coming up fast and the event looks to be even bigger and even better than 2015.

The 2016 Tri-Five Nationals will again be held at Beach Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and is sanctioned by the American Tri-Five Association. Nestled in the heart of Bowling Green. If you own or love a Tri-5, you need to be at this one!

This year, you can even attend a birthday party. That’s right, everyone has one, and this year, the ’56 Chevy gets its chance to celebrate.

Heacock Classic insurance is once again the sponsor of the National Tour Groups.

These five groups will make their way to the beautiful Beech Bend Raceway from various locations throughout the country.

Tour participants will travel together to Bowling Green, where they are eligible to enjoy exclusive tours. Last year, the tours visited Gibson Guitars, Advance Plating, and the National Corvette Museum.

Once at the event, there will be the huge show and shine, and the Holley-sponsored drag racing will be back, and features ¼mile racing with wheels-up action, and more tire smoke than a respirator can control. Friday will be tech inspections, test and tune, and qualifying. Saturday will be eliminations. Head’s-up exhibition and “Fun Runs” will also be made on both Friday and Saturday. The Gasser Gathering is a true flashback, and a definite fan favorite. For Saturday, there will be a special parking area reserved for the guys and gals that built their cars themselves, and of course there is the swap meet.
