Gearheads there is something very cool going on in our hobby. It has taken some time to happen, but the evidence is there.

What is it you say…why more of us are actually DRIVING our cool rides.

Not only are we driving them, but more of us are driving farther than just to the local cruise night in our home towns The recent HOT AUGUST NIGHTS event, that is held in RENO NV each August, actually saw more cars drive to the event and less trailers in the parking lots. To this we say COOL!

Compete at the GNRS and for the RIDLER award, are out on the street after the shows are done. WE LIKE IT! More hot rodders are going on the different driving events like HOT ROD Power Tour and Street Rodder ROAD TOUR’s.

Goodguys hosts a yearly cross country boogie that sells out every year.

Personally we have been big proponents for this. Driving is where the fun is …

This huge Jeep show started in Townsend, TN a couple of years ago and had about 165 Jeeps. The following year, the show exploded with over 700 Jeeps! In 2016, they expect even more Jeeps as they move the event to the LeConte Center. While the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion is hosted by the Smoky Mountain Jeep Club, this show is open to all Jeep enthusiasts. Anyone who owns or loves Jeeps is welcome and encouraged to attend this Jeep Expo and all Jeep Show in Pigeon Forge. There will also be numerous local and national vendors offering parts for Jeeps.
