Entrance Registration Fee and Deposit A non-refundable registration fee of £75 (£100 for overseas candidates) is charged for taking the Entrance Examination/Assessment and is not transferable from one entrance year or sibling. A deposit of £500 is charged on the acceptance of a place and will be retained until the pupil leaves the school. The deposit will not be refunded if the place is not taken up.
Notice The GDST gives at least one term’s notice of any increase in fees. Fees for the following academic year are issued in the April. Likewise the GDST requires a full term’s notice of the withdrawal of a student or one term’s fees in lieu of notice. Girls giving notice to leave at the end of a school year, other than Year 13, must do so on or before the first day of the Summer Term. Having given notice, girls leaving in Year 6 or Year 11 would need to re-apply for a place in Year 7 or Year 12 should they decide to remain at Sutton High School at a later date.
