CONCEPT:

what better to re-engage people to the love to drive if not with a new renaissance?

A new human centered reality? What if exploring anatomy itself to find the answers we are looking for?

CAPSULE SHAPE:

the idea behind the whole project is to have a capsule centered vehicle.

keeping this in mind, every single exploration step followed the concept and design idea of “perpetual continuity” of the moebius ribbon.

mg a: keysketch:

INSPIRATION:

the lines detailing has the heritage of the glorious past of MG sports car models.

concept into shape: with the sketching process the design took place and the “anatomy” covering the car determined the surface flowing.

heritage back-bone: the exploration of the rear part took as a inspiration code the old mg sports car lines. giving them some body beauty in accord with the concept idea .

INTERIOR CONCEPT:

as a big “rib case” shaped form, the whole interior idea stands in the capsule protecting what’s more sensitive and important. the driver.

INTERIOR CONCEPT:

the seat concept is a big “human negative”, waiting for the driver with a protective embrace.

the dashboard instead, inspired from the central bone of the rib cage, brings the sight in front and hosts the small screen with the basic info.

membrane concept

steering wheel:

full autonomous mode, but not really... the driver always has the power to “take control” over the street and get back to the sport feeling through this attachable steering wheel.

dimensions: the car has very small dimensions, suitable for one person to rule the streets in a world of narrow space.

FOCUSED LOOK:

the sharp led lamps and the capsule pointing in the middle of the bones wheelarches creates this focused “predator look” like .

theme refinement:

the final result gives back the capsule centered concept through the 3D model.

FRONT: the big bones working as wheelarches are at the same time stretching the “skin” of the car. on the lower part a carbon fiber element keeps the downforce working as air intake and at the same time remains hidden to mantain the lines flow.

rear: the “backbone” is protecting the capsule, following the morphologic concept of the rib cage. the color split of the two parts of the car are meant to enfatise the same idea, passion muscular curves held by a technical bone structure.

SUSTAINABLE VEHICLE TO SUBSTITUTE LONG FLIGHTS

how to change the way to perceive long way journeys re-discovering the pleasure of being in your car, in a familiar environment.

wish to evade the routine.

finally time to spend with your family and perhaps going somewhere to enjoy the sunset.

finally time for yourself.

KEY.

A POINT IN THE MIDDLE .

the forms explored to get to the final shape are balanced, centered, leaning to an inner peace. the same peace the users wants to have living the car experience.

WELCOME . the “suicide door” type chosen for the entrance is intended to give the sensation of open space and warmt of a family home. and of course, it’s versatile.

SPHERE VIEW.

the concept is based on the sphere form.

greenhouse tends to follow this “regular” imaginarious radius.

EVERITHING GETS WIDER .

this idea is intended to give the panorama effect to the passenger . enjoy the world!

CUSHION STYLE TWO MODALITIES.

the interior concept starts from here, the idea of a cushioned, warm inner environment. the “core” of the idea is to have two different modalities, one for the sleep and relax, the other normal and road oriented

SEATS CYCLE.

the totality of the interior economy rotates around the seats movement concept.

they have the configuration to “rearrange” their position in order to follow the driver back when asleep and to go back to the initial neutral one whenever he decides to.

NATURAL GESTURE.

the inside environment is conceived to let the passenger assume the most natural and comfortable positions during the trip.

screen tunnel. big table tunnel to use as entertainment and, why not, dining table.

cushion seats.

big fluffy seats full of foam, to embrace the passengers.

foot-holder dashboard. no need to have a real dashboard, let’s use it to enjoy the sleep.

foam wrapped structure. the exposed parts are covered in foam to get everithing fluffy.

space under seats. some spare space to use in case of need.

open space.

the result of the toughts flow converges into a big open space where laying down freely and comfy.

family trip. traveling together with the family, sharing emotions and experiences, enjoying every single moment instead of focusing on driving

starry night. sleeping, storytelling, teaching, loving. night would be a perfect moment to stay on the road.

3 WHEELER ELECTRIC VEHICLE

the concpet idea introduced it’s based on the offroad world, trying to re-create the same feeling while driving the commuter in the city spaces.

To reach this result i simply implemented some of the offroad peculiaryties. one above all, the fabric sunroof .

based on an existing car packaging the vehicle will allow two people, but the rear passenger has very small space. this problem led to a convertible kind of rear to let him free a little more. 511 1760 229

Totally electric, ecologic and perfect for sharing service.

to develop this project the base taken had to be ( accordingly with the brief) the one that wheevil project has in his pakaging, the pincer .

designers and engineers of the WEEVIL Project developed a new innovative 3 wheels structure. is inherently lighter and less costly to manufacture than 4-wheeled vehicles, and this simplicity naturally results in a lighter and more fuel-efficient vehicle.

the perfect car for those who always seek the adventure.

first steps of the shape evolution, adding detailing and cuttings from the offroad world.

the form took place and the offroad details are giving to the car the typical “adventure” look.

every single detail was taken from the offroad world, to give back the same feeling.

rearlamp and elctric charge cuttings full rims in black metal and hard plastics coverings mix.

hard plastic coverings and bumpers.

dashboard and steering wheel follow the same concept, very simple shape and hard durable materials. offroad style.

rear space, suitable for everydays carrying city duties, with the possibility to host a passenger.

the rear “fabric cover” hides the back structure, which is a remembrance of the convertibles offroad vehicles this car is related to.
