Summer is one of our favorite seasons at GCPA, jam-packed with programs to keep you active and thriving all summer long! We offer for Ages 5-13 of all levels, with a full lineup of half day camps (stack two for a full day!) plus extended day camps for busy schedules. Look for great themes, skill building activities, and all the fun

Ages 5+, for families who need alternative pick up times! Will involve creative play, crafts, movies, and other fun activities. Campers are also welcome to bring activities of their own. Offered for any programming at the Webster location.

Sign up in advance online for full weeks or pay per day a la carte as needed. A la carte payment not available online and subject to availability. Please email ctimberlake@gcpastl.org to register and pay at least 24 hours ahead.

Campers for Early Camp will not be accepted before 7:45am. Any camper dropped off earlier will not be under GCPA supervision. Campers picked up past 5:30pm will be charged $1 per minute.

PRICING

GCPA ACCOUNT

All students must create an account to register for GCPA programming. There may be one account per family representing multiple students. Accounts must be created before registration may be completed. Email info@gcpastl.org for account questions and support.

REGISTRATION FEE

GCPA charges a nonrefundable registration fee of $30 for the first student and $15 per additional student per year, due upon first registration. Registration fees are charged on a Fall-SpringSummer cycle and renew June 1st of each year. Accounts are automatically charged the fee the first session enrolled during that cycle. There is a Convenience Fee per transaction Credit Card convenience fees are 2.26% plus $0.30. Bank Account ACH convenience fees are .8%.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE & PAYMENT PLANS

GCPA offers need-based financial assistance and payment plans. Please enroll in the desired program(s) without submitting payment to hold your spot, then contact Christy at ctimberlake@gcpastl.org for paperwork and processing.

WITHDRAWALS & CANCELLATIONS

All transfer and withdrawal requests are subject to approval by emailing info@gcpastlorg Students may transfer to another camp up to 2 weeks prior to the start date at no additional no charge,subjecttoavailability.Withdrawalslessthan2weekspriortothestartofcamparesubject toa$25withdrawalfee

Withdrawals are permitted for a full refund (less the registration fee) 3 weeks prior to your camp start date. GCPA may cancel a camp due to low enrollment. Dance, music, acting, and more! Join GCPA for our MOST POPULAR camp experience! Each week you will explore a different theme that incorporates your favorite Broadway sensations! This camp incorporates music learning, choreography execution, and acting using songs and scenes from classic musicals to contemporary Broadway blockbusters. Each week is a different theme so that camps remain fresh and exciting! Explore famous scenes, songs, and dance moves and show them off for what is sure to be an award-winning finale! TROLL TALES

Get ready to dance, sing, and shine when you step into the colorful, musical world of the Trolls movie series! From the high-energy tunes to the vibrant characters, campers will explore the best songs, scenes, and dances from Trolls, Trolls World Tour, and beyond, all while celebrating the power of friendship, fun, and self-expression. Whether they’re rocking out as a pop star Troll or embracing their inner dreamer, campers will leave Troll Tales feeling empowered, joyful, and ready to keep spreading positivity just like their favorite Trolls! Perfect for kids who love to sing, dance, and celebrate the magic of being unique.

KIDS ON STAGE

Broadway is full of awesome musicals geared towards kids! Learn about dance, acting, singing and play some awesome games along the way in this kid friendly sampler of the Great Broadway!

ROYALTY ACADEMY

Calling all princes and princesses - this is your dream come true! Learn the songs and dances of your favorite sovereign stories. Join us for a week of learning royal etiquette, how to dance at the ball, and how to dress like a prince or princess! The sky's the limit on your characters and creativity - singing, dancing and acting out the stories we all know and love and creating new ones along the way!

Calling all Master Builders - bring your creativity from screen to stage in this Minecraft inspired camp! Campers will create their own Adventure Map, learning some basic stagecraft along the way and building up a set, then imagining characters and a perfect pixelated quest to bring to life in a final performance at the end of the week, sure to make Steve himself proud!

THEATRE GAMES

This camp is perfect for theatre game junkies! This camp is all about play - not performance, so it’s perfect for kids who love to imagine, laugh, try new things and connect with friends over an unforgettable experience of fun.

BEHIND THE STAGE

Performers get all the glory, but a show is nothing without costumes, props, and sets! This creative element of theatre is one that is often overlooked, but there is fantastic artistic endeavor to be had in the world of theatrical design. Students will design costumes, build set design models, construct props, and paint backdrops for their favorite shows. In this camp, students will learn what it takes to put a musical on the stage from the tech side!

Whether you're ready to become the next TikTok sensation or simply want to learn the basics of digital filmmaking, Filming Fun will give you the tools to shine in the world of bite-sized storytelling!

Bring your directing and acting skills to our table! This camp produces a student chosen one-act play through various acting exercises and improvisation techniques taught throughout the week. Explore how to polish characters, given circumstances, goals, obstacles, tactics and dialogue of their story. Play multiple different roles and learn the basics of creating, writing, and producing your own play in this fast paced blast of a camp!

leADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

We are very intentionally investing in rising generations, providing as many opportunities as possible for young artists, as well as creating opportunities for them to experience investing in others.

We are always seeking Interns and Teaching Assistants for classes, camps and productions throughout all semesters and sessions in our year. Our Youth Theatre Company staffs a Youth Creative Team to work on its productions as well. These experiences look great on a resume and provide Invaluable experience and enrichment for developing artists of all kinds.

Class and Camp Interns fully assist Teaching Artists / Directors in all aspects of programming, such as setup & prep, demonstrating, class management and assistance, clean-up and more. Learn what it's like to be an Arts Educator and Director with mentorship from GCPA's Education Team! This position is unpaid, open to Ages 14-18, with opportunity for resume building and references.

TEACHING ASSISTANTS

Class and Camp Teaching Assistants share responsibility with the lead Teaching Artist / Directors, creating content and executing instruction / direction. Other responsibilities Include some administrative and organizational duties and Interacting with students and families. This position Is paid based on experience and open to Ages 14+.

YOUTH CREATIVE TEAM

The "YCT" includes assistantships on Mainstage and Summer Productions in Directing, Choreography, Stage Management, Hair, Costume & Makeup, Marketing, and more. Work closely with Industry Creative & Crew to learn the trades that make a show stage-ready! This position is unpaid, open to Ages 13+, with opportunity for resume building and references.

CLASSES AT GCPA

Summer evening classes are designed to support students wanting to continue developing technique and investing in conditioning. It’s a great place to stay active and keep your skills fresh. Wednesday nights are for Ages 10-18, featuring dance, acting and vocal technique classes, plus our popular summer-exclusive Styles classes. In Choreography and Acting Styles, students will study a different style or genre each week with a rotating guest artist lineup from industry professionals from all over the country! A full summer class lineup will be announced soon!
