This apprenticeship framework covers a wide range of skills and occupations within the heating and ventilating industry. Ideal for those who are starting out in heating and ventilation, as well as individuals seeking to progress their career, this apprenticeship allows learners to specialise in installing and maintaining domestic or commercial heating and ventilation systems.
Delivery model and duration:
Qualification: Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating
Block release program, with workplace experience and guidance in between Duration: Level 2 - up to 2 years Level 3 - an additional 2 years
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating
Ideal for: • Individuals looking to progress in the heating and ventilation industry • Individuals looking to
progress to management level • Heating and Ventilation Engineer
The apprenticeship will cover the following core areas: • Industrial ventilating systems • Carrying out pipework installation and welding • Liaising with technicians from supporting trades using communication skills
• Complying with relevant standards • Complying with environmental protection measures
Completers may want to progress to Fully qualified heating and ventilation engineer and progression to management level
Entry Criteria: • GCSE English and maths at A*-C (9-4)
