PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The design respects the past by maintaining the original 1928 historic building and lawn while improving the education experience for all users. The vision also shapes the future with stateof-the-art “next generation” academic and athletic facilities. The shear magnitude of the project posed a design challenge for the team. With so many buildings and exterior areas impacted, the need to keep the high school operational and phase the work into construction and ultimately into use has been of paramount focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Construction administration for contractor and construction schedule.

• Manage structural and concrete coordination.

• Supervise and oversee 80+ contractors.

• Oversee steel and concrete elements for fabrication.

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and review all shop drawings.

• Manage architect and engineers for design conditions.

• Review all DSA drawings for construction.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The stadium’s roof design draws inspiration from the form of a falcon’s wing and is composed of eight triangular panels that encircle the entire structure, moving in unison along individual tracks to create a camera aperture-like effect when opening and closing. The transparency of the facade allows for easy modification of its color through exterior lighting. The roof comprises eight 220-foot-long petals, while the angular form of the facade follows the roof’s design, featuring alternating insulated metal and ETFE panels inspired by the shape of

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The site is located along the western edge of the new commercial development to the west of the central city and will be the first of three cultural buildings to sit within the agricultural park area. The rounded triangular form of the seed suggests the potential of life and organic growth and development, a concept that has informed the building’s design. The three elements critical in the agricultural process are earth, heaven, and people.
