2024
Dear Friends,
Welcome to our fourth UnGala, a special event that provides crucial support for children growing among the vines of Napa Valley! The last few years have been a whirlwind for our community. We are incredibly proud, however, of the support the Club continues to provide on behalf of Napa’s most valuable resource, our kids. The Club is a place of joy and engagement. It’s a place of family and heart. The Club is a place for youth, but there is a real magic that takes place within these walls. If you live, work, visit, or do business in Napa, you’ve witnessed the impact of this work on families, businesses, and most importantly, our youth. Tonight, you will help that magic persist.
Because of your support last year, over 6,000 youth came to the Club to find someone who cared about them. Because of you, our teen center was able to double its enrollment and make headlines with National Awards. Because of you we created opportunities for kids and families to embrace unique Napa Valley experiences like ice skating at the Meritage, riding the wine train, or telling their story in front of a crowd at the Uptown theater. Because of you, we’re a flash point for growth and a catalyst for the next generation of people who will shape our valley.
We’re excited by new partnerships and opportunities that will expand these efforts. In August, we’ll continue to build our partnership with the Napa Valley Unified School District as we provide care. We’re launching our new stem trailer this year and hope to scale that approach to dramatically expand
the depth of the opportunities we can provide. We’re expanding our investments in staff development and at the same time rearticulating programs that are heartfelt, authentic, and impactful.
You, as donors, advocates, and community leaders are at the heart of these successes. Your support makes our work deeper and more impactful. More than that, your support positions us to make life qualitatively better for people living and working in Napa Valley.
That’s what we love about Napa. As a community, we believe that success is a shared venture, that our exceptional leaders, vintners, and partners understand that their success is born of the hard work and effort of our entire Napa Valley community, and that the fruits of that labor enrich the lives of our community as a whole. With this spirit in mind, we know every child deserves the chance to realize their own limitless potential; tonight is an expression of your investment in, support of, and love for the Napa Valley and more importantly the generations of youth who continue to grow among the vines.
Thank you for being a part of this special evening. Thank you from our kids. Thank you from the kid in each of us.

This year we start the UnGala with something new! Get ready to witness the magic unfold as we introduce the incredible David Garibaldi, a maestro of the canvas and a virtuoso of live performance painting.
David Garibaldi isn't just a painter; he's a phenomenon! With brushes in hand and music as his muse, David will captivate your senses as he transforms blank canvases into mesmerizing works of art right before your eyes. His dynamic style is an explosion of color and movement, merging music, rhythm, and brushstrokes into an unforgettable visual symphony.
But here's the twist: We have no idea what he plans to paint tonight! Can you decipher the hidden image emerging from his vibrant strokes? Will it be a portrait of a local icon, a Napa landscape, or a thought-provoking abstract? The anticipation is palpable, and the possibilities are endless!
When the final brushstroke is placed, the masterpiece will be revealed in all its glory. But the excitement doesn't end there! The finished artwork will be available for auction to the highest bidder, ensuring that one lucky collector will take home a piece of this unforgettable experience.
It’s no secret that the act of making a great bottle of wine is an artform. In this package we’ve partnered with renowned local artist Blake Barrios to produce three singularly unique bottles of Rebellium Wine, but the real star of the show is a 7’x4’ painting, the “Koi Dragon”, that was produced by our Club Teens. Worried about wall space? Donate the piece back to the Club and we’ll keep it on display and credit you!

“I felt disconnected when we emerged from the pandemic but the Boys & Girls Club quickly became my second home. The Club was my place to connect with friends. It was my place to connect with people who cared about me. It was the place I chose to give back to as a teen, as a coach, and as a leader. I found myself here, and that helped make me who I am, and I can’t wait to turn that around and share my time with kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley.”
-Laizah Coronado, 2024 Youth of the Year
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley is more than day care. The Club is a place for youth like Laizah, youth who struggle to connect; it’s a place for kids without positive role models; it’s a place of growth, of opportunity, of hope. There’s a real magic that takes place here, NOW, in this moment, those who need us most have never needed us more. Help us continue our outcome driven mission to ensure great futures for Napa Valley Youth! By raising your paddle you provide…
Annual funding for our daily operations.
A safe space for kids, staffed by caring adults who are paid a living wage, in an environment reflective of our Napa Valley community.
Enrichment- including Academic Assistance, Sports, Health, Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM), Workshops and Retreats, and the Arts.
For every one of the 2,400 children we serve every day we invest $2,000 annually in the form of program supplies and staffing. Our registration fees are structured for those who need us most and NO child is ever turned away but every dollar we raise tonight make’s these programs more accessible. YOU, and people like you, make all of this possible. In raising your paddle you are making sure that the Club experience is affordable and accessible for all kids, especially those who need us most
On behalf of the kidswe serve, THANK YOU for giving generously! Your support has an immediate impact, your generosity makes a difference.
