The thought of the form was taking shape with respect to the site context. The sun path played the main role while developing the form because the south side of the site was having a lake view and also the sun movement is from east to west tilting toward south. The north side was having a mountain foothill so the view was covered at the north side. The form was now designed with a north light truss.
The function of the visitors and staff will not be clashing with each other. A clear, linear path for the users is recommended to reach their destination. The entry & exit points are planned such that they create no chaos or traffic because we feel multiple the paths are more the traffic will be.
Elaborating on the function, the users are divided over three parts OPD, IPD, EMERGENCY.
The hospital design started with a thought “function” the clear the function is more clearer the circulation will be. The experience of the end users should not be scary or they shouldn’t have a low feeling in the atmosphere. The hospital will be having a positive entrance which gives the positive and attractive entrance for the. The positivity will be easily spreading due to proper

It seems like you’re referring specifically to the *Barrel Vault* as an architectural feature or a design concept, particularly by B.V. Doshi.
In architecture, a *barrel vault* is a continuous series of arches that form a semi-cylindrical shape, often used as a roofing element. It’s an ancient form of architecture that dates back to Roman times but has been used in various architectural styles over centuries. B.V. Doshi, known for his work in modern Indian architecture, often incorporated traditional forms and elements into his designs while maintaining a modernist perspective.
One of Doshi’s key approaches was creating spaces that harmonized with the environment and local culture. The *Barrel Vault* design allowed for a long, uninterrupted space, ideal for creating large open areas with natural light and ventilation. His use of this form might not be limited to just one project, but it could be a recurring element in several of his works.
If you have a specific building in mind that you would like to know more about in relation to this vault, let me know! I’d be happy to explore it further.
