INTRODUCTION
Since the original publication of Seasons Greetings seventeen years ago these annual communications have evolved from physical mailings to include digital greetings sent via email. This catalogue includes a number of videos and animations, which provide a unique format for storytelling, along with 3-D surprises following the tactile form of the original holiday cards from the first edition. In total the two editions chronicle fifty-two years of joy and optimism for the year ahead.
Too many people have contributed to the creation of these pieces to mention them all by name. Some years I have found myself on the sidelines watching the creativity and artistic expression of teammates. Other times, I have acted as art director, writer, illustrator, photographer and production artist. Some have been involved on numerous occasions and must be recognized for their creativity and contributions: Bob Ankers helped design the first edition of this book and much of the work in it. I would also

like to thank contributors, Lori Murphy, Isabelle Laporte, Roger Takiguchi, Jonathan Motzkin, Scott Silverman, Mark Decena, Jessica Riano, Rob Keil, Julia Gauger, Jenna Pile and John Horvers, who made contributions to this body of work spanning a half century. This collection of designs not only celebrates past work, it also acknowledges ongoing teamwork and the exploration of new ideas. It is a testament to the collaboration combining experience with youth, and focused problem solving with unbridled creativity.
We have been fortunate to receive recognition for this work through its inclusion in numerous design annuals, nationally & internationally, most notably, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, The American Graphic Design Awards, and the Clio Awards. However, the greatest recognition comes from our Clients, who make it all possible.
Happy Holidays, David Gauger
