It is my pleasure to present the 13th annual Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business Honors Day awards. We are proud to celebrate the many accomplishments of Scheller College’s extraordinary students, faculty, and staff, as well as the generosity of our benefactors. I commend the honorees for their outstanding achievements over this past year in the face of so many challenges and disruptions. I would like to recognize a few of our shared accomplishments over the last year. Our undergraduate program broke into the top 10 business schools in the U.S. (Poets&Quants), driven by the highest overall alumni rating out of all schools surveyed. Furthermore, the undergraduate program’s management information systems, business analytics, and quantitative specialties rank top 5 in the nation (U.S. News & World Report). The Full-time MBA program was ranked top 10 in the U.S. for business analytics, information systems, operations, and supply chain specialties (U.S. News & World Report). The Jones MBA Career Center was recognized as No. 2 in the world for career services (The Financial Times). In addition, Scheller ranked top five in sustainability education for the sixth year in a row (Corporate Knights). Furthermore, our students, alumni, and faculty contributed expertise and received recognition in publications like Bloomberg Businessweek, the Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal, and more. Lastly, I want to recognize the financial support of our many generous benefactors, alumni, corporate partners, and friends that has enabled the endowment of many Honors Day awards. Their valued support enables Scheller College to continue to attract world-class faculty and staff and talented students.
