ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

GAS Society is an academic organization open to all FEU High School students. The organization aims to break the stigma of the General Academic Strand (GAS) by encouraging students to be part of the community and providing them opportunities to showcase their talents and skills. GAS Society aspires that its members will flourish in their creativity, talents, and capabilities as students and as globally competitive graduates, upholding fortitude, excellence, and uprightness.

ORGANIZATION VISION

The vision of the FEU High School General Academic Strand (GAS) Society is to challenge people's perspectives by dispelling stigma on GAS students through acting competently, intelligently, and imaginatively upholding the fundamental principles of the institution.

ORGANIZATION MISSION

The Mission of the FEU HS GAS Society is to revamp the GAS strand by advancing the welfare of the students through proactive representation of democratic values and principles, promoting original and innovative projects, raising the academic bar, and practising the shared goal for the development of the institution.

The official logo was created by Ms. Vernon Manahan

The Tamaraw Icon: the tamaraw is the official icon of the Far Eastern University in the logo It represents the students of the FEU High School.

The symbols of Arts, Science, and Math: it represents the three specializations of FEU High School General Academic Strand namely GAS Arts, Gas Business, and GAS Science.

The FEU High School: FEU HS GAS Society Belongs to the branch of FEU High School.

GAS Society: The organization name.

The FEU HS GAS Society Logo must only be placed in Upper Left Corner, Upper Middle, Lower Left Corner, and Lower Middle of the publication material.

a. Postings such as Holidays, International/ National Celebration, Miscellaneous, Evenet, and Birthday must use the official logo of the organization (https://shorturl.at/diuBI)

b. Event photos must use the custom-made logo for the specific event.

POSTING GUIDELINES

PUBMAT APPROVAL

a. The committee member assigned to make content must submit their work to the creatives head at least one hour before the posting for possible revisions of the creatives head, adviser, and other members of the executive committee. If possible the assigned committee member must submit their work one day before the scheduled day for posting.

b. The Creatives Head must send the work of their members on the Execom Group Chat for approval of the adviser and avoidance of overlooking mistakes.

c. Once Approved the Creatives Head or the Social Media Staff may post or schedule post the publication material.

Failure to pass 1 hour before the scheduled time will be recorded as tardiness.

POSTING CAPTIONS

All International and Events Publication Materials shall have credits included in the Lower Left corner of the Publication Material or Illustration.

Format if made by Illustrator/is an illustration:

The text must have font size 14 and in font style Arial.

The Caption must sound youthful, and playful as our target audience are Generation Z.
