Fueled by her love for creative concepts in the editorial fashion world and personal passion for cannabis, starting Gastronomy was something that came second nature. Her hope with the magazine is to bridge the gap between all Miami based artists and cannabis while destigmatizing the content they create; utilizing it as an elevated platform. She hopes to bring light to how unique the cannabis community is in Miami and help market growing businesses in the industry.

How did you get into the CBD business?

My Interest in natural and holistic healing alternatives such as CBD started from my own past experience while recovering from an automobile accident in my early 20’s.

After the accident I was given various forms of pharmaceutical pain killers which were not making me feel great to say the least. I started to feel various side effects from the pharmaceuticals and could foresee potential for future dependence, so I decided seek out alternative medications, which ended up really working for me.

What inspired you to start AZK ?

The inspiration for me to create A Z K came out of necessity to address some eczema that both myself and my third baby were experiencing shortly after her birth. I knew CBD had helped me internally, so I wanted to see if it had potential to help topically as well. A Z K are the initials of my three Daughters, who Inspire me daily to think about the future, so while creating the brand I wanted to ensure that the products were made with ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients.

Has CBD been apart of your life personally?

I am a huge supporter of CBD and strongly believe it deserves it’s place at the forefront of alternative Medicine.

CBD has had a powerful and tangible impact my physical and mental quality of life, and I know this to be true of countless others. I truly feel that I’m not just a creator and founder of a product, but a living testimony of CBD’s potential to heal.

bong appetite “binske” infused butternut squash bisque recipe by AB Private Affairs ingredients • • • • • • • • • • •

1 butternut squash 1 onion diced 1 shallot 1 carrot 3 cups of vegetable stock 1-2 cups of coconut milk 1 tbsp of onion powder 1 tbsp of garlic powders salt and pepper to taste 50 ml of binske rosemary thc infused olive oil dash of cinnamon

For the whipped mascarpone topping: • vegan mascarpone • 2-3 tbsp of coconut milk • salt to taste • 50 ml of binske rosemary thc infused olive oil step 1: dice carrots, shallot, and onion. cube squash and remove all seeds. rinse seeds separately in bowl for roasting. Place on a baking pan with sheet and lightly cover them with olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste. Roast at 420 for 20 minutes or until toasted brown. step 2: meanwhile, sauté vegetables in a pan with olive olil till sweating, add powders and salt. step 3: add squash and vegetable stock, then bring to boil, add coconut milk and continuing stirring with a sprig of rosemary for about 25 minutes. step 4: remove stems from pot and pour mixture into a blender and puree at high speed for three minutes. as is it blends add about 2 droppers full or (50 ML) of binske rosemary thc olive oil. step 5: separately in a bowl whip mascarpone and coconut milk, add salt to taste.

Feel free to add more binske! step 6: plate your bisque by pouring your squash puree into a bowl, followed by drizzling a tablespoon of the mascarpone topping. Finally top with the roasted seeds, and voila. You're ready to enjoy.

“AVB” infused peach habanero margarita What is AVB? “Already Vaped Bud” is a fun term for decarbonated flower. Easily found in your dry herb vaporizer if you collect enough! Easily infuse your tequila by adding 1 ½ g to 3 to 4 oz of tequila and letting it sit in a mason jar for about 2 weeks, shaking every so often. *Remember that enhanced effects of alcohol with thc can be different for everyone. Start slow, then add accordingly.*

1 peach 1 habanero pepper 4oz AVB infused tequila 3 oz lime juice or fresh lime salt agave to your liking

step 1: grill your habanero pepper and sliced peach. step 2: once grilled with good marks, go ahead blend your peach slices and about half of the habanero. step 3: in your shaker with a strainer shake together the tequila and blended peach puree. Shake then add ice and tbsp of lime juice. step 4: dip your glass In lime juice, then the rim with salt, and finally serve your infused refreshing cocktail.
