What Attributes Does God Have?

When you go outside on a clear dark night you will see a band that spreads across the center of the sky that looks like a dense cloud. What you are actually seeing is the rim of what we humans call the Milky Way. What we are really seeing are stars, so many billions of stars they look like clouds. If you could travel at the speed of light it would take you 4 ½ years just to reach the nearest one.

A Light Year In one year light travels six trillion miles and the nearest star is Alpha Centauri, 4 ½ light years away, that means that the nearest star you can see is 27 trillion miles away! That, my friend, is just the nearest star that happens to be in our galaxy. There are over 100 billion stars in our own Milky Way galaxy alone!

This sounds huge doesn't it? Still when compared to the rest of the universe our Milky Way galaxy is one of the smallest in the sky! Scientists overall consensus is it is a dense compact area in the center of massive galaxies that encompasses a super dense massive area called a black hole where light cannot escape. God then is not 'Mother Earth' as new agers believe; he is not the earth or cosmos. He is the creator, not the creation!

God is Immanence Immanence means that God is an all pervading presence and power within his creation. God is actively concerned and involved with his creation as a father would be with his son. This attribute refutes the concept of deism that is a belief that

states God wound up the world like a watch and is now letting it wind down on its own.

God is Immensity Immensity is a term meaning God is not confined to a certain space. The fact that God is eternal means he is not confined by time. Time and space are aspects and attributes of the created world. God by definition is outside of time and space; he is not limited by our three dimensional, naturalistic world, nor is he limited by the 4th dimension of time. God is supernatural, beyond our natural understanding, something we cannot know.

God is Sovereign Scripture also tells us God is sovereign, alone in the universe being the supreme authority, the only God, Creator, and Ruler in the universe. He alone is

God, before him there was no God and there will be none after him. He is the sovereign creator and he alone is the creator.

God is Holy Now we come to the moral attributes of God his absolute holiness, purity, perfection, and majesty.

Out of his holiness comes his righteousness, truth, and his love. God is holy and because of it he demands mandatory punitive and redemptive righteousness. He demands this because his holiness is our standard for living. When there is no standard mankind loses its moral compass passing on into life without an anchor. When there is no anchor there is only a wonder less course. We are to conform to his holiness mature in his nature and conform to his ways.

Above All God is Love

While his righteousness demands justice, God did not leave us to stand before his judgment seat uncovered in our sin. He offers fallen man redemption from his sins. This is God's redemptive righteousness, a holiness which desires the redemption of mankind. God is ready to restore salvation to us when we speak redemption with a contrite heart. God loves all mankind and does not want us to fall into and be condemned by perdition.

God is Truth God's truth endures forever to all generations and his faithfulness remains everlasting. Scripture says the truth shall set you free and if you abide in his word you are indeed his disciples forever.

God has given us a faithful and true revelation of his nature. When we know who the true God is we will

never bow down and worship before something less than what God has revealed himself to be.

The Occult What Is It? Geraldo Rivera back in the day did a major TV special about "Satanism in America" that showed the evil pull that devil worship has on the young of the world. When there is no foundation in the church the young are easily tempted with the power of the occult. Divorce With the increase in divorce and dysfunctional families the young are left to their own devices.

Outward Signs of Influence There are many heavy metal groups that promote Satanic lyrics promoting the evil side of life. Groups like AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Anthrax, Danzig, Metallica, Celtic, Satan, Sodom, Suicidal Tendencies, and Possessed cater to this lost crowd of youth by writing Satanic lyrics to increase their popularity and sucker the young into buying into this decadent music and wanderlust lifestyle.

What is the Occult?

The term occult comes from the Latin word occultus, which refers to hidden or secret

knowledge. It refers specifically to the incursion of the 4th dimension, a spirit realm, into our threedimensional world.

In prior times the occult referred to knowledge that only was available thorough secret initiation ceremonies and was only there for a select few.

Involvement into these secret societies gives members the feeling of being elite and elusive, far above the mundane humdrum world of repeated routine. They feel they are on the cutting edge of a new step in human evolution far above mere humans. This secretive inclusion into something forbidden brings them new and different dangers.

Thus we get the "Son of Sam" types, the Charlie Manson groups that are only the tip of a much larger occultic iceberg. The smart ones are still out there, spawning their evil, and for them it is still open season.

Several Patterns in Harmony with Prophetic Scenario The prophetic scenario of Revelation is now falling into play as present world events are in harmony like a puzzle slowly coming together. The worldwide spying scandal involving the NSA would be a contributing factor. Relationships forged against the backdrop of resolute reliability built on

consistent foreign policy have crumbled away blown by the bloviating deceptions and outright lies coming out of the present administration. Current events give this unlikely scenario a bit of unlikely traction plus plot credibility.

America Already Transformed America, in the world's eyes, has already been profoundly transformed into a socialistic nanny state. Our foreign policy built over past decades of steady and consistent character has been largely shattered by backing the wrong sides. The present regime, living perhaps in a delusional bubble, still believes that our national character is largely intact.

That it is not too late to salvage our national prosperity. Let us pray there is still some glimmer of that possibility. With the real unemployment figures at 22.5%; four million college grads looking for work; the stock market being driven by the printing presses of the Fed; a complete reversal of fortune

does not look entirely like a realistic prospect at this stage. With the stock market headed for an inevitable correction when tapering begins it is highly likely it will take years if not decades to come back from the coming economic collapse.

Regardless, United States allies & enemies have already lost respect that was earned over the past half century. They are now acting accordingly.

Europe Incredulous While Europe and the International Monetary Fund deals with the hopeless results of their stupendous failure of experiments in socialism they have tried every imaginable last ditch effort to save the Euro from a disastrous collapse. When it happens, that is inevitable, it will totally reinvent the European Union downsizing it to just ten nations. Its largess cannot be maintained in its present state. Its leaders now watch in incredulous disbelief as the United States crashes down the road of ever

increased expenditures that will almost guarantee national insolvency. We are buying our own debt now because the rest of the world will not. What does that tell you?

The ACT Bill is a National Embarrassment The entire planet is getting an eyeful of the disastrous detour into "universal", government mandated "healthcare" that this regime insists is best for every American. It gives the global nations only further proof that they now face its greatest dangers without the traditional competent

influence of a strong stable United States in the mix.

The European Union is, like all heady governments would, making alternative plans.

Arab Regimes Lost Faith All of the moderate Arab regimes have lost faith in the United States leadership and they are downright saying so to our face in public! Saudi Arabia is totally disgusted that the U.S. backed the Muslim Brotherhood to help orchestrate the downfall of Mubarak in Egypt. That happened just at the time Egyptian businesses still oversaw a lucrative international tourism industry; radical Islamist groups were outlawed; goods were in ampule supply because the import /export business was thriving. It was a drastic wake up call for Arab leaders to wrap their heads around the fact our president was calling for the ouster of a reliable partner just to cheer on the ascendance of a terrorist group.

Saudis Threaten to Break Relations At this point in history the Saudis are threatening to break relations with the United States over our confusing convoluted incoherent handling of Iran and Syria. It is just not the Saudis that have lost respect and trust it is every other oil rich gulf state, even Jordan! The current rift may just be irreparable.

Conclusion The rest of the world is making plans without the United States included meaning we can no longer be trusted to do the right thing. With Germany on the rise it is entirely possible they could develop their own military again to become a threat to the continent and the rest of mankind. They have always had their eye on Middle East oil.

If Israel is attacked by Iran and Syria it is very likely Israel will prevail because they have the most efficient army and intelligence system in the world.

This could lead to the takeover of Middle East oil if other Arab nations help in the attack on Israel.

Germany would then be infuriated at this change in balance of power in the region. Do you see where all of this may be leading? The puzzle is slowly being pulled together by the master planner. Stand by because our redeemer draweth nigh.

In Matthew 24:6-7 it focuses on wars and rumors of war but states that the end is not yet and that these things are just the first birth pangs of what is yet to come means we are only at the beginning of what is

called the end times. At the tail end of Brennan's book he explains the sequence of prophetic events that are to occur right before Christ returns to set up his kingdom.

Is this real? Are things going to change to the point living will be chaotic and unfulfilling? What will happen to Christians? When will the rapture come about? Where are we headed from here? These are all questions that the author gives a good attempt to answer. For the most part everything is according to scripture and he has 14 pages of reference to back his claims.

Evaluation This is an excellent book on what is exactly ahead written in AP style and an easy read. I would give David's book a five star because of the information involved; the timing of the release of the events

making it relevant to right now; how it will involve the whole citizenry of earth and how it will affect each and every one.

Conclusion David Brennan has come through again with an excellent up to the moment capsule of turning world events into a deadly spiral of moral chaos, earth shaking revelations, and a toxic downward spiral into the abyss of delusional reasoning. In the beginning of the end times according to scripture it says "they will call evil good and good evil." We have now entered the start of that time. May God help us.

A Need for Vigilance in These Perilous Times We are living in very perilous times. That is all the more reason we must "pay much careful attention so that we do not drift away." (Heb. 2:1) We should all be anchored in our belief system lest we become shipwrecked in our faith. Drifting occurs very slowly

though the end result is as deadly as openly turning away from God in outright apostasy. C.S. Lewis once wrote, "The safest road to hell is the gradual one the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts."

The devil seeks to lull you to sleep.

Spiritual Danger is real Spiritual danger is just as real as physical danger.

The real danger today is to give up hope, to go with the flow, like so many lemmings rushing into the sea, to become numb to society, to drift away, and die inside. It is much more dangerous to ignore God's mercy, or to make a pretense of knowing God's grace, then it is to blatantly break his commandments. The immediate need then is to remember, to hear, and to awaken the soul to face the truth of reality. We must focus the heart, concentrate our will, and consciously set the Lord always before us. (Psalms 16:8)

Follow the Spirit Each day we must awaken from our emptiness to reaffirm the central truth: "Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God; the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all your might." (Deut. 6:4-5). As the Apostle Paul once said, "Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light." (Eph. 5:14) Shema The great commandment is to shema, Listen-listen to the voice of God's love for you; listen to the message of God's good will for you; listen to the call of the Holy Spirit. To truly listen you must quiet yourself, you must make space in your heart, and you must make a conscious effort to attend God's presence by setting the Lord before you.

Be Vigilant We must then be vigilant to secure our high calling to our Messiah: "Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; His going out is as sure as the dawn; He will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth." (Hosea 6:3). The day is drawing near, and now, more than ever, we must remain steadfast in our belief. May God help you pursue him with all your heart because he has promised "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" (Jer. 29:13). Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, body, and soul and you will find him even as you put your hope in him.

First Time in History Children that live in America are now more likely to have shorter life spans than their elders for the first

time in history. Obese kids are even more likely to develop chronic diseases than their peers that do not have the problem. It is estimated that 33% of school age children have the deadly overweight issue. It would seem through careful observation that the distractions of everyday contemporary life is keeping us from living out our lives as we intended, living up to the values we once had and thriving as individuals in a society that has everything.

Sociologist Judith Schor Judith Schor a sociologist told the Los Angeles Times in an opinion piece, "We work too much, eat too quickly, socialize too little, drive an sit in traffic for too many hours, do not get enough sleep and feel hurried too much of the time." Nothing New Over the last 35 years Americans have increased their income 20%. Our homes have doubled in size, more gadgets and the latest of everything have been enjoyed, but still we are not happier as a nation nor do we seem to grasp what it is that will make up happy.

We, as a nation, have to define what will make up happy then find out our way of achieving it. The pursuit of happiness is a God given right backed up by the Constitution, an inalienable right. that turns work into play. Very few of us achieve that feeling, that rush of satisfaction that comes with living life to the hilt and truly enjoying it.

Over the last 20 years there have been very defined economic trends that point to an eventual day of reckoning for the U.S. economy. A good example would be over the past decade the United States has outsourced the majority of its domestic manufacturing to foreign nations. Many can be found on the coast of communist China, others have fled to Mexico, South America, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The U.S. as a nation has opted out to become a massive consumer nation. This specialization in consumerism means for the first time in our history the personal savings rate of Americans has dipped below 0 percent!

The Credit Industry The credit industry of today now trumps the manufacturing industry in total revenues. Our consumer crazed nation now purchases everything in sight using high interest credit cards in an effort to feed the hungry credit beast that has become a

instant gratification devise. No longer do people save up to buy an item when they can have it up close and personal in a matter of hours. This buy now pay later mantra is even found in the largess of government where 40 cents out of every dollar is now borrowed to satisfy vast entitlement programs, spurious federal government bureaucracies, and new programs that have helped the government expand 28%.

The Entitlement Generation America has created what is now being called the entitlement generation that has come to expect perpetually low tax rates to go along with low interest rates. It also expects unrealistically high government entitlement spending to go along with high investment returns. The new entitlement generation does not consider the concept of savings and sacrifice to be essential as it pursues any form of delight and fanciful delicacy on its radar screen.

This type of mindset has setup in the American economy nothing less than a feeble house of cards that has become completely vulnerable to external forces that await our demise that it appears now will come sooner rather than later.

The Painful Truth The sad painful truth is the great American experiment in free trade, capitalism, and democracy stands on the precipice of a self imposed economic calamity of its own making. After World War 2 American stood as the world's greatest creditor nation, while today, just over 60 years later, America now stands as the world's greatest debtor nation in world history. The United States now represents to the world a reluctant historical empire in total economic decline that has little chance of getting its financial house in order unless it goes cold turkey. This has little chance of

happening because like all good credit addicts there is no pay off at the end of the road.

U.S. Military Over-extension The Unites States, as of today, has more than 700 military bases located in 120 countries. That means our military is located in over half the world's nations. Acting as the ever vigilant global policemen requires an annual budget of over $600 billion U.S. dollars. That is almost ten times larger than China's $65 billion, 12 time larger than Russia's $50 billion, 120 times larger than North Korea's $5 billion, and 140 larger than Iran's $4.3 billion.

The American Military Machine In fact, funding the American military machine costs more than all of the rest of the world's militaries' expenses combined. This will clearly be

unsustainable in the near future and is typical of an empire that has become overextended. As our military forces start to withdraw from the 700 bases worldwide there will be no guards at the door of worldwide terror and wars of chaos will rear its ugly head. America will no longer be able to afford to be the world's policeman.

Foreign Creditors The American Empire's economy has become so grossly indebted to foreign creditors that foreign countries own a very large amount of America's real estate wealth and hold vast amounts of our government bonds, China comes to mind. The repercussions of this large foreign ownership of American interests allows China and other nations seeking global resources to enter our hemisphere and nothing is said when they explore for oil, natural gas, etc. To allow this kind of leverage from foreign powers points right back at weak leadership

at the top. So our indebtedness to foreign powers that have regimes that are not friendly to the U.S. leaves us in a highly vulnerable position at home and abroad.

Answers Answers to this mismanagement of financial stewardship will not come easy to a nation that is used to being satisfied with easy acquisitions of its desires through easy credit card use. First and foremost Americans should be taught the austere management of their own financial resources through a savings account that can be grown through a payroll savings plan that goes directly into a no go account that cannot be touched until retirement. This would allow savings to grow from their job with a large nest egg at the end of their work years.

Credit Card Junkies Allow only a few credit cards per household eventually paying off and eliminating your debt starting with the smallest credit card balance first.

Economic classes in financial stewardship should be mandatory in every high school nationwide. Passing this class should be mandatory in getting your high school degree.

Raising New Revenue for the Government The tax codes should be changed to reflect an across the board flat tax for every working individual in America and every business corporation with no tax loopholes allowed. A national sales tax of 1% should be instituted to raise funds for government employment projects to get the country working again and paying taxes.

Lobbyist should not be allowed to pursue Congress

with deals for special interest groups that want special treatment with tax loopholes. This should be disallowed and made criminal with hefty fines along the way. This would be a good start along the way to getting America's financial house in order getting back to the good old days of living within your means.

Psalms 83 Report

Read the “Pslams 83 Report” book that states Israel will do a pre-emptive strike against an Arab confederation that is planning an attack against them. Israel strikes first defeating the armies getting ready to attack, conquers those lands, and take their oil resources as spoils of war. Pslams 83 states that Israel expands its territory four fold becoming the new power player in the Middle East.

The Arab nations see that their God is not as powerful as Israel’s leaving a religious vacuum in the area.

The Last Pope Pope Francis steps in introducing the AntiChrist,who has become a world leader by this time, to the Israeli regime with a plea for peace. When the Anti-Christ makes a seven year peace treaty with Israel his identity becomes know. Scripture says when this event happens it starts the beginning of the great tribulation that leads to the war at Armageddon.

The Key

The Anti-Christ’s peace treaty with Israel is key.

When we know the start of the tribulation we therefore know who returns to Israel after the seven year tribulation.

The Eclipse & Four Blood Moons

I believe after the last blood moon in the fall of 2015 the rapture will happen anytime up to the start of the tribulation. Read Arno Frose book “The Mystery of the Rapture” for exact details about this interval. When Christ comes in the clouds to gather his own from the earth taking believers to a safe place this is when the wicked plans of the “man of

perdition” go into effect because there is no one there to stop him. God’s people have already left the planet! If we know when the tribulation starts then we know seven years later our Lord and Savior returns! We just do not know the exact time he is coming in the rapture because no man knows except God himself!
