RETAIL TRADE The Retail Trade Division includes units mainly engaged in the purchase and onselling, the commission-based buying, and the commission-based selling of goods, without significant transformation, to the general public. The Retail Trade Division also includes units that purchase and onsell goods to the general public using non-traditional means, including the internet. Units are classified to the Retail Trade Division in the first instance if they buy goods and then onsell them (including on a commission basis) to the general public.

Retail units generally operate from premises located and designed to attract a high volume of walk-in customers, have an extensive display of goods, and/ or use mass media advertising designed to attract customers. The display and advertising of goods may be physical or electronic.

Physical display and advertising includes shops, printed catalogues, billboards and print advertisements. Electronic display and advertising includes catalogues, internet websites, television and radio advertisements and infomercials. While non-store retailers, by definition, do not posses the physical characteristics of traditional retail units with a physical shop-front location, these units share the requisite function of the purchasing and onselling of goods to the general public, and are therefore included in this division.

A unit which sells to both businesses and the general public will be classified to the Retail Trade Division if it operates from shop-front premises, arranges and displays stock to attract a high proportion of walkin customers and utilises mass media advertising to attract customers.

They offer casual, relaxed all day dining, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, including our family friendly downstairs dining area.

They love local, and pride ourselves on using local ingredients and making almost all our products in-house. Breakfast comes with Milawa Bread, you’ll find Milawa Cheese Company cheese on our toasted sandwiches and our fruit and vegetables come from our friends at La Bella Rocca.

They use their own Paulie’s Corner Signature Blend coffee, a Columbian bean roasted locally.

Paulie’s Corner is fully licenced, and offers a great range of local beers, cider and wines.

CURRENT TENANT PROFILES COTTON ON - SHOP 5 Cotton On was founded in 1991, with the first store being opened in Geelong, Australia. As of 2013, the Cotton On chain has over 1000 stores worldwide. As of 2011 the company employed around 5,500 people.

The company was established by Nigel Austin in Geelong, Australia, at the time it only sold women’s clothing. Since January 2006, it had expanded with Cotton On Body and Cotton On Kids in 2007. It expanded to Typo (stationery and gifts), and also Rubi Shoes in February 2008. Natalie McLean is the new chief retail officer of Cotton On Group.

The design team in the company’s Australian office controls the steps of production from merchandise planning to establishing specifications, and production is outsourced to approximately 150 factories in Europe and Asia.

These facilities are used for horizontal division of labor rather than being integrated.

AUSTRALIAN HEARING SERVICES - SHOP 11A Australian Hearing is the nation’s leading hearing specialist and largest provider of Government funded hearing services.

We were established by the Australian Government in 1947 to provide hearing services to children whose hearing was affected by a series of rubella epidemics and to assist veterans who suffered hearing damage during World War II. Australian Hearing is a statutory authority constituted under the Australian Hearing Services Act 1991, reporting to the Minister for Human Services, and is within the Human Services portfolio.

OUR SERVICES: Our services include assessing hearing, fitting hearing devices and providing counselling and rehabilitative programs to enable eligible customers to manage their hearing impairment. Many of our audiologists specialise in particular fields of service delivery. These include paediatric, adults with complex rehabilitation needs and outreach services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

Community Service Obligation funding also supports NAL. NAL performs research in hearing habilitation and rehabilitation and the prevention of hearing loss. NAL is also a core party in the HEARing Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) which commenced in July 2007.

Ally first opened its doors in Sydney in 2001 and now has 130+ stores as well as an online store. Our customer base ranges between the ages of 18-35 with our direct competitors being businesses that are fast fashion price conscious retailers.

WANG SUPA BOWL Established in February 2012, Wang Supa Bowl is locaed on the first floor of the Co-Store. It contains 12 lane state-of-the-art facility accommodated people of all ages and skill abilities. With a specially built glass-walled party room, our bowling centre offers excellent rates on birthday packages comprising of food and a FUN game of 10 pin bowling all within metres of each other. Guaranteed to keep the young ones entertained! Our centre also accommodates the disabled members of our community with lift access to the first floor by using the lift to the cinema and ramp access to our lanes.
