PHYSICAL THERAPY COMPLEX HORIZON HEALTH Paris, Illinois Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the new Physical Therapy Complex at Horizon Health. The 21,000-square-foot facility includes a 16,000-square-foot physical therapy clinic with a therapy pool, indoor track and sleep pool, and 5,200 square-feet for a future dialysis clinic.

HYBRID OPERATING ROOM (OR) ST. VINCENT HOSPITAL Evansville, Indiana Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the Hybrid Operating Room (OR) at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. This multi-phased renovation occurred within the heart of the surgery department and required a high level of coordination to relocate several areas for the new suite. This operating room provides surgeons with the latest cardiovascular surgery technology that is less invasive and results in reduced patient recovery times. This is the second Hybrid OR project completed

by Garmong Construction.

RUSH MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FAMILY PRACTICE CENTER Rushville, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this 6,300-square-foot tenant build-out. The project included new under slab plumbing, site work, landscaping and interior finishes to accommodate 12 new exam rooms and staff areas.

INDIANAPOLIS COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT CENTER Indianapolis, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Design-Builder for this 27,900-square-foot, two-story clinic which provides medication assisted therapy and counseling services for patients recovering from opiate addiction. The facility includes 12 medication dispensing rooms, a pharmacy, counseling and administrative offices and secured storage capabilities.

HYBRID OPERATING ROOM (OR) DEACONESS HOSPITAL Evansville, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the renovation and conversion of four existing operating rooms (OR) into a new GE Hybrid OR unit.

The first of its kind in southwest Indiana, the complex project delivery of this GE Hybrid OR consisted of five phases and occurred over a 32-week period. It is designed to optimize efficiencies for trauma related operations to work hand-in-hand with cardio, cath, and imaging teams within the same unit. This project is located in the heart of Deaconess Hospital’s downtown medical campus.

HARSHA BEHAVIORAL CENTER MENTAL HEALTH HOSPITAL Terre Haute, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the new Harsha Behavioral Center in Terre Haute. This 53,000-square-foot mental health hospital includes 81 patient rooms, a cafeteria, gymnasium and administrative offices. Harsha provides inpatient services to children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in need of 24-hour intensive psychiatric care for conditions stemming from mental health issues, dual diagnosis, chemical dependencies and detoxification.

UNION HOSPITAL EAST UNION HEALTH Terre Haute, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this $178.0M, 500,000-square-foot expansion, which included four stories and a lower-level, emergency services, imaging, surgery, endoscopy, recovery, telemetry, respiratory therapy, inpatient therapy, intensive care and medical/surgical beds, as well as, specialty unit beds for orthopedics, neurology/neurosurgery and oncology. The new facility connects via tunnel with the existing hospital. This project is one of the most extensive in Terre Haute’s history.

LINDA E. WHITE HOSPICE HOUSE DEACONESS HOSPITAL Evansville, Indiana Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for Deaconess Hospital’s new Hospice House. The $10.0M, 35,000-square-foot facility, located on the Deaconess Main Campus in downtown Evansville, provides inpatient medical services and respite care for patients with a terminal illness who need pain management or symptom control. The facility has seven patient rooms with adjoining suites for family to stay while care is received. There are plans to build additional rooms in the future.

WOMEN’S HOSPITAL BREAST CENTER DEACONESS HOSPITAL Newburgh, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this 5,000-square-foot renovation of the Breast Center suite. All patient services continued while this three-phased construction project was completed within four months. The facility features mammography equipment, private gowning and waiting areas, improved technician and physician imaging reading areas, a reception and waiting room and modern finishes throughout the suite.

WABASH VALLEY SURGERY CENTER UNION HEALTH Terre Haute, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the new AP&S and Union Hospital Wabash Valley Surgery Center located in Terre Haute, Indiana. This 30,000-square-foot facility features private patient rooms with large windows and quiet, sliding doors, six state-of-the-art operating rooms (with room for additional OR’s in the future), larger waiting areas for family members, medical data imaging equipment and satellite radio. The center allows for easier access to operating room scheduling with capacity to perform over 12,000 surgical cases and procedures per year. Being located on the Union Hospital campus also provides more flexibility to physicians and allows easier transfers between the hospital and the surgery center.

GREENE COUNTY GENERAL HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM ADDITION Linton, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this $6.5M state-of-the-art emergency room addition that included renovation of several additional departments within the existing facility. Phase I included the new Emergency Department addition (10,000 square-feet), as well as the new Main Entrance and Physical Therapy renovation. Phase II included renovation of the Mammography Area, Radiology Area, Ultrasound Room and Imaging Department.

ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATES MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING Evansville, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this 9,500-square-foot Orthopaedic Associates medical office building (MOB) on the west side of Evansville. Completed in eight months, the building consists of eight exam rooms, two casting rooms, an X-Ray room and a therapy gym. Unique to this project is the incorporation of a geothermal heating and cooling system.

HUX CANCER CENTER UNION HEALTH Terre Haute, Indiana This 88,000-square-foot, three-story comprehensive cancer treatment facility – the only of its kind in the Wabash Valley – is located on the Union Hospital campus. The unique facility houses UAP Clinic Oncology, Clara Fairbanks Center for Women, and Union Hospital Radiology Oncology. Services include radiation therapy, medical oncology, clinical trials, mammography, boutique services, support services, nutritional services, a resource center, a tranquility room, an appearance room and spiritual support.

DAVIESS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL Washington, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the interior re-purposing and remodel of this 140-year-old, 18,000-square-foot, two-story, rehabilitation and therapy facility. Interior upgrades included new adult and pediatric exam rooms, two nurses’ stations and waiting areas, a therapy pool, a patient rehabilitation area that includes a walking track and the addition of an elevator. Extensive structural improvements included the addition of steel support members and helical foundation piers. Exterior upgrades included a new roof and façade, as well as site improvements.

UAP MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING UNION HEALTH Terre Haute, Indiana Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this $18.5M, 130,000-square-foot medical office building (MOB) for UAP. This four-story structure houses a full basement and includes over 100 exam and procedure rooms. The MOB provides various services, some of which include radiology; cardiology; ear, nose and throat; urology; pulmonology; gynecology; endocrinology; gastroenterology; surgery; allergy; and internal medicine.

HOSPICE OF THE WABASH VALLEY INPATIENT HOSPICE FACILITY Terre Haute, Indiana Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for this 6,815-square-foot inpatient hospice facility, located on the renovated fifth floor of Union Hospital West. As the first and only such facility within a 60-mile radius of Terre Haute, the Hospice Center’s homelike atmosphere includes eight (8) patient rooms with sleeping area for family members, and the incorporation of hidden but accessible, medical equipment; a common area living room, kitchen and playroom; laundry room; and quiet/ chapel room.

This includes personal injury and property damage, both of which can be devastating and interruptive. Through regular safety audits, daily recorded progress reports, and fluid communication between the project team and our clients, our focus on safety remains in the forefront.

Our Experience Modification Rating reflects our attention to safety procedures and risk management. We are proud to report consistently low accident figures.

TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS Garmong’s safety personnel travel the state regularly visiting jobsites, ensuring construction activities are being performed in compliance, and educating our Superintendents and their craftsmen on changes in regulation or practice. They also ensure our field teams are receiving the necessary (and often required) training that is relevant to their assigned jobsite, and to the industry as a whole. Our Superintendents are also equipped with the latest software and technology, including iPads, allowing for real time communication and daily progress report sharing with clients and with the office.

We have been a member of CCS since 2013.
