Why the demand of Urgent Care Centers is increasing? Now days, you can see urgent care centers almost everywhere in Hawaii. Today, most of the hospitals have started opening their own urgent care centers. There are 7,100 full service urgent care centers in USA.

Nearly 22% are owned by hospitals, 15% care centers are associated with hospitals and 19% are owned by corporate entities. These centers fill the need of urgent care that falls between emergency and primary care. The access to care becomes easy and it reduces the crowds in the emergency department. This is mostly useful to the patients with low acuity conditions since they may have no other medical option. There are many hospitals slowly diverting into the business of urgent care centers as this makes easy for patients to have follow up care from a specialist. The comfort and ease observed by patients due to these centers has led to the growth of them in Hawaii. With the birth of these centers, the entry of nonemergency cases in the emergency rooms has been reduced.
