EDUCATION AND PUBLIC PROGRAMS
The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is dedicated to helping all audiences connect with art. To better understand our visitor’s experiences, we partnered with audience research firm WolfBrown to conduct a baseline study of visitor expectations, activities, and satisfaction level. The resulting data will be used to inform future program development.

VISITOR LEARNING
What happens behind the scenes at the Museum? Thanks to an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant, we began to make twelve Behindthe-Scenes films designed to share our horticulture, conservation, archives, facilities, and education work with the public. During the summer of 2013, we worked with the research firm Goodman Associates to conduct a formative evaluation on the first three films, gathering audience insights that shaped the content and format of the rest of the series.
