We’re very, very comfortable with technology. Technology is what enables us to be nimble in our operations and helps power new and delightful customer experiences. We’re pioneers in using Airtable cloud collaboration software to streamline our incoming service requests from our app or service line to ensure that our technicians are notified and responding quickly to your needs.

COMMUNICATION

We work tirelessly to communicate our daily actions to our clients. We value relationships in our work and do not rely on robots to do the work of good communication for us. Our service technicians reach out individually to notify the client when they’re on the way, throughout the project process and when the job is done, sending photos of the work as it’s being done.

MINIMIZING DISRUPTION

Many of the projects we respond to are in occupied spaces and we understand every project is critical as it relates to the daily business of our clients. Our goal is to treat any project no matter the size as a big deal. Maintaining a clean and tidy site matters to us, because we know it matters to our clients. When necessary, we utilize barricades to ensure safety and mitigate disruption.

Dress for Success SERVICE CASE STUDY

2020 was a hard year for everyone as Covid-19 changed many aspects of our lives. The Twin Cities based non-profit Dress for Success was one of the many companies in the metro that were forced to shut down all of their locations during the pandemic. Since 1997, Dress for Success has provided women with resources to be successful in their career in order to develop economic independence. The non-profit was determined to continue serving their community, so they sought out our Gardner team to transform an RV into the Success Express.

This RV renovation might top the list of being one of the most outside of the box, unique projects Gardner has ever done. Betsy Vohs and her team at Studio BV designed the interior of the RV, but with only 300 square feet of usable space, it was an all-hands-on deck to put every inch to good use and bring the drawings to life. The RV is equipped with two spacious dressing rooms, ample storage space for clothing and accessories, a seating area, and a refreshments counter. The

process to get to the final product was challenging. The original furnishings in the RV were much lighter and of lesser quality than the products that replaced them, so there was a lot of trial and error to find which products would work in the space. This required the team to keep an open mind and find solutions that were only possible through collaborating with one another.

I made a lot of friends throughout this project and created long-lasting relationships where people can rely on me and I can rely on them.”

Throughout the winter months, trade partners would let the Service team work out of their shops to keep it out of the cold. From August until late November, our Service team completely revamped this RV, turning it into the perfect place where women can train, plan and dream of their future.
