Judging is underway – GTN’s Greatest Christmas Awards update

GTN’s intrepid team of Greatest Christmas Awards judges have started their tours to visit great teams at 100 nominated garden centres.
The first days Christmas judging for our Features Editor, Anisa Gress included a journey through the Christmas decades at Perrywood, meeting a very competitive team at BGC Braintree, Bavarian curling at Meadowcroft, an England World Cup Christmas display at Summerhill and a surprise visit to see Santa at Alton Garden Centre.
Andy Campbell started with judging visits in Cornwall, Steve Myatt has his Christmas jumper ready for visits in the North West, Roger Crookes is heading south towards Hastings and awards coordinators Neil & Nicci Gow are all set for a full week of visits next week in Wales and the Midlands.
In total we’ve had a record 100 centres nominated for The Greatest Christmas Awards 2022 and we will be visiting them all to meet their wonderful teams between now and the middle of December.

Centre • Woodlands Garden Centre After all those visits and plenty of mince pies the judges will be meeting in early January to decide the winners of the 15 categories who will be announced on The Stage at Spring Fair, Monday 6th February 2023, 5:00pm.
