For this collection we searched through our family’s photo archive. Analyzing and investigating upcycling resources that were developed by my mother for the creation of handmade garments, from disused materials. As a response to the scarcity of resources, taking advantage of what already exists. Garments with simple lines, homemade, that have accompanied us throughout our history. For Isleña we were inspired by the simplicity of everyday life, developing design processes intended to be transmitted. Once again we reaffirm the most precious value we learned from our family, - Extending the useful life of objects
