Professional vs unprofessional: a continued battle IMI chief executive officer, Steve Nash talks about the institute's ongoing mission to raise motor industry standards in an exclusive interview with GW.

JUST as the motor industry really began to establish itself, a number of respected industry individuals gathered in 1920s London to form the Motor Trades Association. They recognised a need to improve the status, recognition and employability of those working in the sector – values that remain true for the organisation today, now known as the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).
