ALTERNATIVE BREAK SERVICE TRIPS Alternative Break Service Trips let you encounter and respond to some of the most pressing societal and global concerns of our time. Each trip is built on the foundation of service, simplicity, community and reflection. Our teams of student leaders cultivate community among their small group of student participants and faculty and staff accompaniers through relationship building, learning and meaningful dialogue prior to and during the trip, which occurs over spring break or after classes end in May. Upon return, students are invited to bring their new energy and lessons learned back to our campus communities to create change. 24
