ON THE COVER: More than 3,000 people marveled at the 40-minute fireworks display that followed jazz/swing/big band selections by the River City Six band and a boat regatta on the tip of the peninsula last year in Gills Rock. This year’s light shows will be held in Ellison Bay on June 27; Egg Harbor and Maplewood on July 3; in Baileys Harbor, Sturgeon Bay, Gills Rock, Washington Island and Fish Creek on July 4; and in Sister Bay on July 5.
