Hey guys!!! My real name is Tristan and my artist name is SAIYAJINK. I’m 32 years old. I from France.

When did you started to like tattoo.

When i was 18 years old. With my first tattoo on myself.

What was it about the ink that made you fall in love with it?

Because i want to share my passion of pop culture (manga Disney cartoon Marvel etc...) on skin. Give a life to my favorites characteres on the people.

When did you realize you wanted to be a tattoo artist?

When i was a policeman. One day i woke up and i said to me “okay today it’s a new goal i want to be a tattoo artist!!! I want to live my passion!!!” Stop police ahahah!!!

Did you always knew how to draw or was that a skill you learn?

I always draw!!! My first draw it’s “vegeta” from dragon ball Z (my favorite manga) How old were you when you had your first client and was you nervus?

I was 26 years old and i was very nervous ahah.

It was a big responsabilitie ahah.

Was the client satisfied?

Yes... of course it was free ahah and it’s a friend ahah. Actually he is always satisfied Have you ever had a fuck up while working on a client? and how did you handle it?

No never. I think i’m lucky about that ahah

It’s complicated to make a choice because i’m everitime Proud of my work. I everitime want to be better.

Okay... it’s a secret... but it’s my first tattoo on my friend ahah.

So Gunz, Where Are You From?

I am born and raised in Lynwood ca. Los Angeles county. My nationality is Mexican. my mother is from Mexico City and my father is from Jalisco Guadalajara Mexico.

When did u get your first tattoo and what was it?

I got my first tattoo when I was 16 years old. I got my year of birth 1982 on my right shoulder.

One of the og’s in my neighborhood did it for me for free. His name was “One eyed spike” he only had one eye the other was stabbed out.

How Many Tattoos Do You Have?

I lost count after 20 something.

I pretty much have my waist up completely covered so 50% of my body done.

What Inspires You To get a tattoo?

My inspirations for tattoos comes from all sorts of things. my passions in life, my accomplishments, my history.

What tattoo means the most to you?

Thats a hard question to answer I have so many that mean so much to me but if I would have to choose I would say, My parents portraits on my chest. Without my parents I wouldn’t be here and without them and the way they raised me I wouldn’t be who I am today.

Any tattoo you regret?

No! I don’t regret any tattoo. I believe that a tattoo is a blueprint of your life and even though things change at one point it was real enough to put it on my body so that made me who I am so how can you regret your growth process in life? It helps remind me that my past was real.

What do you love about tattoos?

What I love the most about tattoos is the story, the meaning of peoples lives and how tattoos express all those emotions in people. Its an art form.

Are you planning on getting more tattoos?

Yes! I plan on getting a full body suit. I want to cover my entire body. I probably won’t tattoo the front of my face or the top of my head cause I like to have hair lol. but we will see what the future holds for me.

It was in my late teens I always wanted to have a job in art. And the fact I use do those crappy indion ink tattoos I just needed to step my game up and do it properly.

Ever since I was young I was always fascinated by tattoos and use to hand poke tattoos on my mates when we used to skip school. It turned out tho school was not for me I was

a school drop out and I was on my way to nowhere fast.

I was always good at art so I decided to give tattooing a proper go and make a career from it.

So tattoo pretty much save your life?

Oh Yes it did

Did you always knew how to draw or was that a skill you learn?

Yes I was always drawing from a young age that part is something your born with.

You can teach somebody to draw but they won’t compare to a natural artist. It’s to do with the brain the right hemisphere is associated with cognitive skills, such as creativity and intuitiveness. Right brain people are often characterized as artistic innovative and often random How old were you when you had your first client and was you nerves?

I think early 20s and I wasn’t that nervous most of my first customers where on friends

and people I knew.

Was the client satisfied?

At the time yes but truthfully they were crap but I guess you got to start somewhere.

Have you ever fuck up while working on a client? and how did you handle it?

I class all my first tattoos on friends as fuck ups. You just have to push your self to be better.

What is your most pride work?

It’s hard to pick a favourite but anything big & Japanese.

Their tattoos identify them as a part of a specific family or tribe in a social structure. ·Personal meaning Some prefer tattoos because they like to get something meaningful and personal to them. It may be someone or something important for a person. They get a tattoo as a tribute for their loved one who already passed away. The tattoo can also be a slogan, a saying, or motto that they hold dear and apply in individual’s lives. ·The desire of a specific look An individual wants to get tattooed because of its beauty and cool look. They want to get a specific image to be inked to their skin permanently. For other people, the beauty of the tattoo is a permanent fashion accessory for them. It is their way to express their personal aesthetic or overall look. ·Expressing individuality Someone wants to have tattoos because it allows them to stand out in front of the public eye.

·Covering imperfections Tattoos are also used for cosmetic reasons. It can cover imperfections on the skin, making it less visible or prominent. Some use tattoos to cover their scars and stretch marks. ·To rebel Tattoos continue to rise in popularity, but still not completely accepted in some social structures.

Some get tattoos to defy family expectations, cultural norms, or pushing the envelope in professional settings. For example, a girl is always treated like a little princess of her family. With this, she gets a tattoo to rebel and defies the expectations of her family. It is their way to oppose and make a statement of themselves. ·Some are addicted to the process or pain Others who are fond of tattoo love to experience the sensation of the process. They are used to and tolerant of the hurting when being tattooed. It also helps them to eliminate their fear of needles.

David Mckinney Ok, I title this “The Drunken Ink”.

It was my 25 birthday me and my buddys decided that we going to get shit face wasted so after work I went home shower dress and had 5 shots. 7pm my buddy’s pick me up and we headed to the first bar, by this time I was feeling good ready to party, 2hrs later 3 beer and 7 shots in we headed to another bar at this point everything started to get blur, I remember few things at that bar the rest my buddy’s had to fill me in, lol. Now the event that was going on around this time was the Bill Clinton scandal and according to my buddy’s i was talking how I love Bill because he got head in the oval office, lol and that i should get a tattoo of him on my back. Well thats just what i did, So that said, I can’t tell you how many drinks I had by this time, all I know was they took me to a tattoo shop and got good ole Bill on my back. The next day I woke up with a bad hang over and my back was in pain, went to the mirror and was like what the fuck! Called my buddys and they told me what went down. I can’t believe that they actually took me to the ink shop and on top of that they took photos mann I was fucked up. Its a had lesson learn, I love Bill but not that much so years later i had it remove. I love tattoo even got 12 of them but Im glad Bills of my back and mind, lol
