Freestanding Shade
Our freestanding shade options provide larger areas of protection from heat and harmful UV rays. Available in hip, umbrella, sail and cantilever in multiple sizes and colors, these shade products are made of durable materials to last for years and years.
Hip shades offer a versatile and economical shade for a wide variety of environments. Umbrella shades provide comfort, style and protection to any outdoor location with unique visual appeal. Sail shades create a playful, architectural style that looks like a custom design, and provides plenty of shade and comfort. Cantilever shades are the ideal shade option when the space doesn’t allow for additional support columns, such as pools or specialized designs. Freestanding shades are available in standard and high wind load options.

Integrated Shade
Studies show playground shades provide a comfortable play environment that encourages children to be more active for longer periods of time. Our shades provide maximum UV protection and are available in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Umbrella shades integrate with your play structure to provide shade and comfort with unique visual appeal. Canopy shades are available in square, hex and sail styles and offer large areas of integrated shade on your play system. Polygonal shades allow you to integrate comfort and shade in specific areas of your play system. Three different shapes give you design flexibility.

SHADE FABRIC
Our selection of fabric colors pass the NFPA 701 and ASTM E84 tests, provide up to 97% UV ray protection and are all fire retardant. Fabric colors labeled with “CFM” are California Fire Marshal certified. Gametime Sunblox Shade fabrics carry a 10-Year Limited manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery against failure from significant fading*, deterioration, breakdown, outdoor heat, cold, or discoloration. Should the fabric need to be replaced under the warranty, Gametime will manufacture and ship a new fabric at no charge for the first six years, thereafter pro-rated at 18% per annum over the last four years. Canopy warranty does not extend to cables or moving parts. *The colors Mesa and Dandelion are warranted against significant fading for two years.
