Letter from the editors

Dear friends! We are happy to meet you again these warm May days. From pages of this issue you will know about hard work of our colleagues, no matter of ranks and status; we also want to highlight the importance and value of common projects accomplished by the whole team. You know, to get “Golden Globe” award - it requires efforts of every person in the company. And of course, to make children’s holiday “Weekend with Toyota” really joyful – we need not only to fulfill our duties at work but give our kids a part of our heart. We sincerely congratulate all dealership centers and give thanks for active role in all projects. We are looking forward to your offers, comments or suggestions at: galsinform@avtogals.ua

Achievements

Toyota Center Lugansk “Autowind”– the holder of TSM Certificate Earlier in one of our “Galsinform” issues we highlighted the leadership of “Avtogals” company in achieving the highest level of TSM standards. And it is quite interesting that less than a year has passed and one more dealership center from the group of our companies obtained this prestige certificate. February, 1st, 2012 was marked with awarding Toyota Center Lugansk “Autowind” with bronze TSM Certificate (Toyota Service Management). The high level of technologies and quality of Toyota cars production demands from dealership centers the high level of service. All these factors make Toyota brand prestige. That is why owing TSM Certificate — is not just successful recognition but also making auto sales car maintenance in accordance with Toyota standards. It is also the symbol of responsibility for offering customers high quality service. — Many customers are interested if we already have the Certificate — says Konstantin Kogan, service manager of Toyota Center Lugansk “Autowind”. — Modern vehicle is a complicated and technologi-

cal means of transport nowadays and the question of its safety is directly connected with the level of car service. Bronze TSM Certificate became the symbol of recognition of our efforts and correct steps. It is necessary to mention that there are many criteria to become a holder of TSM Certificate. It starts with the communication with customers and up to high quality service maintenance and after service dialogue with customers. Special service equipment is very important here. But it is not enough

just to demonstrate good service, the most important — is to hold this level, follow the recommendations and make adjustments in time. We can say for sure that we have passed these levels and reached our target. And it is just a matter of time for us to get silver TSM Certificate. Style

Toyota and style are inseparable The first victory in “Toyota Style” competition was taken by “Avtogals” company and it lit the interest between other dealership centers. The competition in making exclusive car image for our customers became tense and quite serious. During the IV quarter 2011 dealership

This award is a result of work of each person in the company. centers tried to make the car image different and unique and offered our clients quite creative car variants.

The most interesting model became snow-white Toyota Yaris from “Autowind” company. Elegant lady became the first Toyota Yaris buyer in the 1st quarter in the group of our companies, so she wanted her car to have the same elegant look. Standard tyres were changed for good quality winter “shoes”, and glasses were tinted. Engine protection is a necessary thing in our rough conditions and original floor mats appeared in the car. Of course parktronic is a good helper for a lady in parking. So, shortly speaking, elegant car has got a number of improvements. Such aspiration was awarded with different nominations for each dealership center. Companies got certain prizes. But, as we know, the winner is just


one. According to the results of 4th quarter 2011 the winner was Toyota Center Lugansk “Autowind”. Traditionally the whole company was present at the awarding ceremony. This award is a working result of each person. The company also got its bonus for a corporate holiday and original hand made prize.

“Autowind” celebrated its victory in Maslenitsa style. The holiday was full of fun and joy, the main

feature of it was traditional Maslenitsa pancakes, and less expected but still desired shashlik which was cooked by Anatoliy Phyllipovich — a good handy man. The “Toyota Style” competition becomes more exiting. And we wonder if Toyota Center Lugansk “Autowind” will hold its award. So we discover it in May.

Golden Globe

“Golden Globe” — the award for success and diligence Traditionally the results of “Golden Globe” competition were calculated, where the aspiration for victory became tenser. The last quarter 2011 gave Donlex Company such desired victory in the competition. We want to note that high marks were shown by two companies: “Donlex” and “Autowind”. But still Lexus representatives had advantage in scores. It just proved that the fight was really hot.

“Golden Globe” — the symbol of victory had taken its place in the showroom, so every person might remember that making maximum efforts we could be successful in any undertaking. “Each person in the company longed for this victory and we were seriously working on it, — says commercial director of “Donlex” Sergey Divak. — and when the winner was announced we, honestly speaking, were not surprised”. Lexus dealership center is quite unique in its way: showroom and service station are situated on certain distance from each other; practically it made work harder and needed special approach to all processes. Nevertheless, this factor was not an obstacle to win “Golden Globe” award.

“This award made us more confident. Each employee realized the importance of his work and the responsibility, — says Sergey Divak, — Also “Golden Globe” proved our special attitude to our customers. 20-30% of our customers note that they bought their Lexus in our showroom just because the pleasant atmosphere surrounded them. It proves us that we move in the right direction. Our following target is quite close here — to hold our positions according to all criteria. Traditionally, the ceremony was held in


presence of all personnel and top managers from other dealership centers from the group of our company. The solemn ceremony of passing the “Globe” from previous winner “Avtogals” in the hands of present one was held with applauses. “Golden Globe” — the symbol of victory had taken its place in the showroom, so every person might remember that making maximum efforts we could be successful in any undertaking. Besides the “Globe”, “Donlex” company had won its bonus for corporate holiday.

The company is not big, so it let them to have a holiday twice. “The first event we had in Uzovskaya brewhouse, where we spent wonderful time, — says Sergey Divak smiling. — But the second party was more active at “Virus” bowling center where we had a real fight. “Galsinform” editors congratulate “Donlex” company with the victory. We wish them not to stop with their achievements and be the example for other companies in reaching their targets.

Holiday

Maslenitsa with Toyota – a holiday for everyone Dull and grey days awaken a desire for long expected spring sun shine. And it is quite understandable that Maslenitsa holiday is celebrated to say goodbye to winter and welcome gentle spring. We have a good tradition in our dealership centers to invite guests for Maslenitsa celebration. This year

“Avtogals” and “Azovmotor” companies were hosting Maslenitsa. So, for such event Maslenitsa offers pancakes and Toyota dealers offer Toyota test drives. The guests were happy to enjoy the treats: pancakes with sour cream, pancakes with jam, hot mulled wine, tea and coffee, appetizing roasted sausages. But Toyota fans were nor less surprised with a chance to test drive a new generation Toyota Yaris. The car with a quite aggressive image was interesting

for many young people. The car was tested about 50 times, and drivers` emotions were talking for themselves. Small but quite manoeuvring car gave many positive impressions. Toyota Avensis also was popular with the public. The car with a renewed image attracted a lot of attention. Family couples were mostly interested with a car. It is not surprising — spacious and comfortable cabin, wonderful technical characteristics and a high safety level — all of this makes Toyota Avensis a desirable car for a businessman and a father of a family.


Winter farewell holiday was really successful. National costumes and music added friendly atmosphere. Guests felt the comfort of Toyota cars, had good rest, and enjoyed the holiday atmosphere and delights. Such holidays became already traditional in our company. It is important that each time we try to prepare something new and interesting for our guests, and who knows what surprises are waiting for our customers next spring.

New projects

Cheerful “Week end with Toyota” — a festival which lasts This spring brought a number of surprises not only for our customers but also for their children.

In March we launched a new project in the group of our companies — a festival for children “Week end with Toyota” and it became a pleasant occasion for meetings. Such a grand event was taking place for the first time in our dealership centers. We were a bit warring how our customers would react for our invitation. Almost all Toyota centers met their little guests on 17 March. Much fun, fairytales characters, sweets and presents were waiting for each guest. Holiday scripts were different in every Toyota center. In Lugansk kids were met by lovely Fairy

and Baba Yaga, all together they traveled by fairy labyrinth. In Donetsk a funny clown Toyotik and a pirate took kids on a treasure journey. In Simpheropol, clown Styopa prepared many tricks and surprises for children. And in Sevastopol a Fairy captured little kids with a fantastic world of music, fun and drawing; she combined games with rules of road traffic. Children were taking part in different competitions; it was the most interesting part of the holiday. Kids


could win exclusive magnets for collection. Magnets were in a form of puzzle with models of Toyota cars. Such magnets would be present on each holiday for kids, so taking part in the competitions during “Week ends” children would be able to collect a bright puzzle. But it is not all. All the children were presented with a special drawing book with funny characters which live in “Toyotiya land” and sweets of course. Kids were happy to enjoy the holiday.

Kids` laughter, sparkling eyes and a feeling of endless joy left us with unforgettable pleasant feeling. Especially touching was a poem written by 6 year old Nastya from Mariupol: Tyres, tyres - the cars are running, But Toyota is the fastest — It`s a real success! While the kids were having fun, their parents had good time as well. They could have a test drive and full consultation about Toyota cars. The atmosphere was really warm and positive; customers` smiles and kids` laughter were more than a reward for us. This project has just started — once in a month we are expecting kids in our dealership centers to have new adventures!

New Projects

The award for competition “The best salesman” — to see the world At the end of 2011 an alternative project “The best salesman” was launched in the group of our companies.

The nomination is not simple and the award is — a holiday trip. The project is composed from 3 parts and one needs to work hard to go through each part. So the project has started. The salesmen unveiled their talents during consultations: revealed slightest details and unpredicted desires of our customers while choosing a car. Because it is important to help our clients to make right decision. Such work productivity was easy to notice, because a big number of happy Toyota owners were leaving the showrooms. The second tour was a more serious competition — the participants demonstrated their theoretical base. The questionary contained 60 diverse questions, including simple notions and dif-

ficult technical tasks. Though the judges sometimes were really surprised with the answers — creative, bright and humorous. For example for the question: “which car model it is better to offer to a certain customer type?” — The answer was: “Highlander — dynamical, economical, movable, not framed — soft in motion, spacious, functional and fantastically beautiful”. There was a task to build a phrase offering our client to sign a contract, some phrases were really interesting: “Make your dream come true! Shall we sign a contract? I am preparing a contract for your wonderful car”. Also there were a number of inventive answers for the task to describe the portrait of the best sales man, for example: “75-


80kg, smooth-shaven, accurate hair cut, clean, neat suit, pleasant perfume, middle-aged”. All the participants were competitive and it was not simple to define the leaders for the last tour. Finally, there was formed the last group of salesmen who showed the highest results. “Avtogals” was represented by Vadim Yablonenko, Denis Gridunov, Sergey Shish and Alexander Prokopenko. Nikolay Bulkin was representing “Autowind” company. Hero — city Sevastopol and “Omega” company was represented by Denis Grechanyuk, Ernest Khalilov — from “Delta Motors Crimea” and Kate Burova, Vadim Zamkovoy and Leonid Krants from “Donlex”. The third tour would require from our leaders maximum efforts, because the final stage was planned to check all knowledge and skills at practice though role play. So, the best salesman would pass through all difficulties to stars, so to say “Per aspera ad astra” and would win a holiday trip. Though, a country chosen for a holiday trip is a secret for now. We want to wish our finalists self-control, power of will and aspiration to win. In the next “Galsinform” issue we will interview

the winner of the competition who now is not even thinking that it is time to get ready for a holiday trip. At the moment of emotion tension we asked the finalists about their feelings before the last part of competition: Denis Gridunov, “Avtogals”: — I do not feel any leadership itself. Though I realize that there are no weak partners at the final stage and I have to get ready for it. I am sure there will be a number of surprises which we do not know yet, but which we can meet with dignity.

The only lady in the group of finalists Kate Burova is determined to win. — I do not worry at all, the best practice before final part of the competition is direct sales. In spite of the fact that I am the only lady among finalists, I intent to win!

Nikolay Bulkin, “Autowind”: “Best Salesman” competition is held for the first time in the group of our companies, and it is very interesting. I do not have a feeling that it is a final part because we have to improve ourselves constantly. Finalists are the strongest sales consultants, so let the best win! Personally me, to win this nomination I need my experience, knowledge and what is important in sales — luck! Denis Grechanyuk, “Omega Motors”: — Before the final part I have a strong desire to be more

productive at work, to be able to use knowledge and experience. And of course I want to use different methods in sales which I discovered from my colleagues. Also I want to do my best in the final tour to represent my dealership center. While I am getting ready for the last part of the competition I improve my knowledge and experience. Ernest Khalilov, “Delta Motors Crimea”: — I do not have any special feelings before the final part. I think I have good chances to win; all depends on the mood at that moment. Of course I expect that my knowledge and experience will help me to win.

Long ago one old Indian shared a truth of life with his grandson: there is always a fight inside of each person — it is similar to a fight of wolves. One wolf represents evil, envy, jealousy, pity, regret, ambitions, lie… The second wolf represents kindness, peace, love, hope, truth, faith…. Little Indian was impressed to the bottom of his heart by his grandfather’s words. He thought for a while and asked: “Which wolf wins at the end?” Old Indian slightly smiled and answered: “Wins the wolf which you are feeding”.
