TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2025, 7:30 PM

$62 - $118

SPONSORED BY

As an R&B artist who needs no introduction, Brian McKnight has gained international recognition, earning himself a spot in contemporary music history. He has released 19 albums over the past 25 years, with 17 Grammy nominations, and sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. A singer, songwriter, and producer, McKnight also is a multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, guitar, bass, drums, percussions, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet, all of which he just might play in this holiday delight!

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2025, 7 PM

$42 - $108

Stella Cole is hitting the road this December to celebrate the holiday season and support her new Decca single, “Merry Christmas, Darling.“ In response to her timeless reimagining of the beloved Carpenter's classic, Richard Carpenter said “I've been waiting fifty-five years for a fresh take on what I consider to be one of my better songs, and Ms. Cole knocks it out of the park.“ In the lovely Christmas performance she is bringing to the Gallo Center with a string quartet, you'll be immediately struck by Cole's rich tone and extraordinary vocal control as she interprets beloved holiday standards.

This performance is part of the Center’s new GCA Cabaret series, offering a vibrant and eclectic showcase of intimate performances in the Foster Family Theater—featuring special VIP table seating both on stage and in the orchestra pit, complete with one complimentary per person, for a truly New York cabaret-style experience. Ask the Ticket Office for additional details.

GET TO KNOW STELLA COLE

With a voice that bridges generations, Stella Cole has cultivated nearly 2 million social media followers through her fresh interpretations of timeless songs by iconic artists, including Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, and Nat “King” Cole. Often described as a Laufey-meets-Bublé sensation, Cole brings a fresh interpretation of classic repertoire to a new generation.

Last year, the “powerhouse rivaling Judy Garland and Rosemary Clooney” (People) released her holiday EP Snow! , featuring a duet on the title track from the classic White Christmas with Tony Award-winner Darren Criss. Snow! presents Stella

interpreting well-known holiday classics like “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “White Christmas,”and “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” in addition to discoveries like “Christmas Dreaming” and “That’s What I Want for Christmas.”

This past August, Stella released her sophomore album It’s Magic . The album breathes new life into classic love songs, including “Fools Rush In,” “As Time Goes By,” Burt Bacharach’s main title theme from Alfie (1966), and “Till There Was You,” made familiar by the 1957 Broadway musical The Music Man and later The Beatles.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PREMIER PARTNER:

WORLD CLASS HEALTH IS RIGHT HERE IN THE CENTRAL VALLEY

One of the wonderful things about the holidays is the chance to spend quality time with family and friends –here at the Gallo Center and at home.

Of course, quality time goes hand in hand with good health, and at Central Valley Doctors Health System we are committed to expanding access to quality health services so that more patients can receive potentially life-saving and life-enhancing treatments right here in our community. You don’t have to leave the Central Valley for world-class care.

Here are a few examples of how we are expanding access to top quality care:

• We are the first in the Central Valley to perform the TriClip procedure to repair a leaky heart valve. Only a small number of expert centers worldwide perform this procedure, so those who do the procedure are considered part of an elite group of structural heart specialists.

• Our team also is a leader in robotic Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) surgeries. In fact, Robotic CABG accounts for less than 1% of all CABG procedures in the U.S. – and our team has even performed Robotic CABG on arrested heart patients and multi-vessel robotic CABG surgeries.

• CVDHS is the first in the region to offer Ion Bronchoscopy and fewer than 1% of hospitals worldwide have an Ion system, which provides elite precision in detecting and removing lung tumors.

It’s exactly this combination of innovation, access, and compassion that attracts top doctors and nurses to Central Valley Doctors Health System — and in turn, enhances the quality of life for everyone who lives and visits here.

Familiar storybook characters — a Baker and his wife, Jack and his cow, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and more — embark on quests to fulfill their deepest desires. While all of their wishes come true, they find themselves tangled in a web of magic, mystery, and unforeseen consequences. With Stephen Sondheim’s iconic score and James Lapine’s masterful storytelling, this iconic show will enchant, entrance, and delight!

HAPPILY EVER AFTER , ONSTAGE AND OFF

In the great musical Into the Woods , the Gallo Center Repertory Company’s production in December, familiar fairy tale characters chase their deepest wishes— love, family, adventure. For two real-life couples in the GCRC cast, those wishes have already come true.

Colleen Hawks-Pierce (The Witch) and Jeff Pierce (The Narrator) first crossed paths in Modesto Performing Art’s 2002 production of Oklahoma! , where they played Laurie and Curly. Their careers eventually took them to Broadway and across the country in such shows as Shrek: The Musical , The Boy from Oz and Miss Saigon . Now, decades later, they return to Modesto to share the stage once more.

Chelsea Foy (The Baker’s Wife) and Ryan Foy (The Baker) met while performing together on a national tour based out

of New York City, and worked together on multiple U.S. and international tours. Chelsea most recently played Rona in GCRC’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee last season. Ryan is Director of Produced Theatre & Special Programming at the Gallo Center.

Other cast members include Ally Munson (Cinderella), Laurence Turner-Cordova (Jack), and Evan Elisa Espinosa (Little Red Riding Hood). Directed by Patrick Norris and Music Directed by Lisette Sims, James Lapine's masterful storytelling and Stephen Sondheim's iconic score will enchant you. And for 53 years of “playing rock & roll hot enough to melt the polar icecaps and flood the world’s major population centers” (Rolling Stone), the 2026 continuation of The Baddest Show On Earth Tour is a stage-shaking, roof-raising, guitar-snarling blast.

“Could be the state of the world,” says George. “Maybe it’s the healing power of rock & roll. But when we hit the stage on any given night, I can guarantee that we’ll make you feel like a teenager again.”
