Eileen Olimb

I am a norwegian living in Luxembourg. I left Norway to study when I was 18 and travelled for 8 years following before I settled in Luxembourg. I have a bachelor of Science with honours but ever since I got my degree I have been drawn to art. I painted for many years and went through many different stages of learning. I attended Ecole d'Art Contemporaine for two years on a weekly bases but I am mostly self taught. I am constantly looking for new challenges and I love to try out new techniques, play with colours and patterns. I often use pieces of posters and paper I find and I get inspiration from everything I see and everywhere I go.

I was chosen in a competition to show at Strictly Hermann in Vienna, Austria February 2018. My painting was chosen for the formal invitation.

I was among the winners of the 33rd Chelsea Intenational Fine Art Competition July 2018 and showed some of my work in Agora Gallery in New York. One of my paintings was used as a poster to advertise for the whole event.
