SMALL WONDERS – 175 YEARS OF POSTAL HISTORY ON THE ISLE OF MAN
//THE SAYLE GALLERY, DOUGLAS// A range of original artworks from the Isle of Man Post Office archives, including works by Manx masters Norman Sayle, John Nicolson, Tony Onley and Coleen Corlett as well as commercial big-hitters such as the Paul Smith Olympic issue. There will also be a rare original Penny Black stamp and a new release marking the 175th anniversary of this, the world’s first adhesive posting stamp used in the public postal system. There will also be a range of postal history paraphernalia including special edition coin collections.

A new presentational device, Narropera narrated opera, is opening up just such potential, called introducing this most complex of art forms to the opera firsttimer while adding an extra dimension of enjoyment to even the most dedicated opera fan.
