2022 MILESTONES OUR COUNSELING CAPABILITIES

The GallantFew VetSTAR Program proudly obtained a Licensed Counselor in 2022! Karl Monger, GallantFew's Executive Director, graduated from The University of North Texas with a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. He subsequently passed the National Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor Examinations and received his Licensed Professional Counselor Associate from the state of Texas.

Additionally, Karl completed EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training. GallantFew can now deliver the therapeutic protocol recommended by the VA for post-traumatic stress. All of GallantFew's transition counselors are certified in the Burris Institute Subsconsious Restructuring methods, the key methodology for the VetSTAR Coaching program.

As part of the Combined Arms network, GallantFew receives referrals to provide coaching and mentoring to active duty personnel through the Department of Defense's Transition Assistance Program, expanding our reach within the active duty community. In 2022, this program connected a service member stationed in Japan to GallantFew. The reach of the Combined Arms network is vast and enables the GallantFew team to serve worldwide.
