BUSINESS OVERVIEW Founded in 1999 by Aram, Gurgen and Artyom Khachatryans, the company grew from 30 employees to 3000, becoming one of the biggest groups in Eastern Europe.

From an idea to a project, from a project to a company – Galaxy has created its companies from the ground up, each time setting a new benchmark, delivering a new product or a service. From telecom to IT, from retail to hospitality; this is a group of companies that makes the most out of each industry to bring disruptive innovation.

The Group has created and developed 15 businesses in Armenia, Georgia and Belarus, serving as the holding company, while reserving the role of management and strategic development.

Besides the leading telecom operator in Armenia Ucom, the businesses under the Galaxy Group include Yerevan Mall, the biggest shopping mall in Yerevan, TI’ME & Pandora premium jewelry and watch stores in Armenia, Georgia and Belarus, MegaFood, one of the largest importer and distributor of confectionery and food products on the local market, etc.

CSR, CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP As of 2019-21, Galaxy Group of Companies with its Corporate Foundation Implemented about 20 development programs aimed at enhancing the positive image of Armenia, supporting social and educational development, improving lives and communities.

Throughout the past two years, the number of direct beneficiaries of the programs has exceeded 12,000. For 2022 Galaxy plans to double the number of development programs, with a hope to make modest, yet sustainable contribution towards social improvement, recovery and development of Armenia’s economy.
